Although fake , some of the wrestlers have died in the US doing stunts , so it is still dangerous. Fond memories of weekend wrestling on ITV, Mick McMannus??, Jacky Pallow, the guy with mask something like intendo ??? they were showmen but some of the moves to get out of holds do work.
Eating salmon sandwiches Saturday night while watching TV with little old ladies getting irate and hitting a wrestler with her handbag was much better viewing than now watching
some not got talent show. Oh nostalgia and heat for the photos!

Agreed! I was young then but I remember my Mum (who was a very straight laced, nice quiet Church going type of person) giving it laldy when the wrestling came on, on a Saturday afternoon. I used to watch her more than the tv. :smile:
I think the mask guy was Kendo Nagasaki?

I'm so glad we don't see unprotected chair shots to the head anymore. I'm watching the old Raws on WWE Network and I wince every time.
