It deducts from the pricing in checkout, but throws you out at the payment stage.

No it does not work for you, rakuten promo codes are checked whether they are eligible only when you are ready to actually pay, you can enter it and the discount will be applied but when you click checkout it says the code is not eligible for the products in your basket.

This is very annoying at rakuten, but I guess they just want to put you before the finished act and only then tell you, sorry mate not working. I gave up on 3 orders this way by now...

The second one had a issue with the speaker making a noise, I returned it but they said it was fine, iv returned it again and iv told them that it needs looking at.
Each time for both returns they took 3 weeks each
