I bought this last week with their 25x points deal (points credited this morning).
The phone is European model, but comes with an adaptor. Turbo charging still seems to work. If not, it's plenty fast!
I had hiss and crackle from the top speaker which seems to be a common complaint.
Out of the box I got about 5 or 6 straight software updates. By the end I could've fried an egg on the phone. This is the only time it's gotten hot so far. By the end of the updates, I was on 6.0 Marshmallow and hissing/crackle was gone.
This is a great phone for the price. Very happy so far.

It's a European import as you get a foreign plug charger & usually get a UK plug adaptor sent with it. I have had my phone for over a month and am delighted with it... Great value for money.... :smirk:

does that do anything?

apparently it's possible to say *ok google* even when the phone is locked, as the nexus 6 has a separate chip for such a task. however, for the life of me I cannot find the toggle to turn on this feature. in google now settingsunder ok detection there's only one option to enable detection in the google app and no option to enable it everywhere. running marshmallow. anyone else seeing this?

I too have not inserted a SIM and wondered if that is the problem but obviously not! Maybe I just need to be patient but it is being pushed out more slowly than I thought.

I bought one of these, I installed marshmallow factory image as ota not showing as available on initial boot up. I then used the NFC/ beam transfer option to copy settings from old phone to new. pretty easy process.

I've had the update. Came straight out of the box. I purposefully didn't insert a SIM to see what would happen because I suspected carriers can slow updates down. I may be wrong in this however. It's a Nexus, you'll get it, just a question of when. You can update it yourself if you check XDA or somewhere for instructions.

You can but this is a phablet, which the LG G4 isn't and if that's important then the G4 doesn't fit the bill.

LG G4 is not as big and has LG's (in my opinion) detrimental software changes. Stock Android or bust!
Expansys are pretty bad customer service wise so I'm hoping nothing goes wrong with mine.
Got mine on the previous 25x points deal getting me £72 off a Fractal Design Define R5 PC case I was going to buy anyway, making the phone effectively £190, bargain!
Flashed mine straight to Marshmallow on receiving it and haven't had any problems at all, brilliant phone and a worthy successor to my beloved Nexus 5!

Yes. Box was completely sealed. It is actually a complete pain of a box to open, so tight!
Outer carton was well packaged with N6 box and a loose UK adapter.

I bought one of these a few months back, the phone itself was faulty - it had strange interference coming through the speakers whenever I used the phone, to their credit I got in touch with expansys and they had a courier pick up the phone and got a full refund.

Exactly what happened to mine, they took 3 weeks to sort this one out , as I bought 2, the second day the speakers were fine, but when returned expansys failed to find it, they sent it back in the end. What a waste of time

BE AWARE OF EXPANSYS. BAD REVIEWS FROM ME , TOOK 4 weeks to give a refund, poor communication between departments, returns and cs can only email each other.

How well does this stack up against the new 6P?
I need to upgrade my N4, which I have loved, but wasn't keen to splash out tons of cash on the 6P.
Size aside, how much of a difference is there between the two phones? Is the camera improved with the new software? Will I get 3 years use out of the 6 vs the 6P?
Cheers
