I just happened to be digging out last years fireworks from the same cupboard I have some of my old Amiga stuff! I had a go on the hand grenade version about 6 months ago. Still good fun on the old Kempton joystick. Me and my mate used to try and get everyone blown up on both teams  I dont actually remember what Unsensible Soccer was like just spotted it in the box!

Never disputed it, and to be fair its only marginally. But does PES 2016 have Ryan Goggs, eh?
I think it was optional - played in later years on the Amiga CD32 which was GamePad control only (well I still play it on the CD32 and don't have a mouse!)

I feel like getting up in my loft after seeing this i have amiga 1200 and a 600 up there and loved cannon fodder especially the music of the game what a tune.
I didn't like the pc version of sensible soccer or cannon fodder but loved them on my amiga.
Can you use the amiga on a hd tv or monitor?
i have a philips monitor that i used with my amiga but it's so small 12" compared to today's tv's and monitors its been in the loft for so long wouldn't know if it still worked the amiga's are in a big box so should be ok but the monitor is just up there in nothing.

does anyone know what kind of video cable I need to get an Amiga up and running? Just dug my old A500 out of the loft and I think I used to have a big old CRT monitor or TV for it.

I also have both of these disks!
I remember having a moon version of the game with very little gravity. The other one was Apples vs Oranges, the keeper was a pear, the ref was a walnut (as it says on the disk). When the ball hit the ground hard it would drop a random banana on the floor which players could fall over.
Those were the days!

Ah yes, I remember Cannon fodder on my trusty Speccy 48K, playing it to death and developing a rather large and very painful blister on the lower section of my right thumb due to joystick overuse, those were the days.

I dug out my Amiga 500 a couple of weeks ago to play this. Still going strong and all my discs still play flawlessly...and the disc loading noises haven't got any quieter! The soundtracks from the Amiga games were also the best hands down. Jaguar xj220 and project x some of my favourites!

What a game and some fabulous memories. Memories that are a little more special after a mate I played this with all the time as a kid passed away last year with leukemia. He had sensi on his Amiga while I had it running on my old man's Pentium PC. Power house...
Was also probably the first football game (rather than management game) that had Falkirk in it so I was like a pig in the brown stuff! Maybe FIFA 96 was the first, I dunno, sensi rulled over all anyway.

yeah, sensi soccer and cannon fodder great games and great fun back in the day, but like so many old favs of mine, I do tend to look at them through rose tinted glasses, and having replayed many old games on emulators many are best left to my memories... if you like sensi soccer check out tiki taka soccer on android, very similar....

Damn, three games guaranteed to break your joystick (and possibly your wrist)
Sensible soccer with it's insane after touch, which after shooting required you to yank your joystick hard left or right and invariably leaning the same way to give it that extra swing...
And to ensure you could break your joystick's down function too, we give you Cannon Fodder. Sneak slowly up the screen, before realising you're walking into hell on earth as fires rains down on you from the cliffs above. Smash joystick into the down position to run away and propel yourself backwards while screaming an obscenity at your characters imminent demise, followed by another obscenity as you hit whatever was behind you at the time...
Happy days

I had that demo where the players were fruit, and I'm sure there was a sensible moon of soccer too. I liked the easter egg when you had england vs Germany.
On the Amiga there used to be a cheat that if you held the space bar to do a replay the players stood still and ball carried on. Good memories.
