Remasters are great, give people a chance to get an enhanced version of the game if they missed out the first time, and if you've already played it then you don't actually have to buy the remastered version again, there's plenty of other great games out there to spend your pocket money on.

Such an epic game! But they really should have included a few other God of War games with this remaster.

My thoughts exactly. All 3 original games were great could have been a beast of a remaster if it had the first 2 games included.

And what exactly is so wrong with remasters? 99% of the time they are made my other third party devs often with the original team overseeing the project. So all this stupidness with new releases apparently being delayed or put on hold as a result is just complete bogus.
Also like someone else said there are a whole bunch of games I missed out on last gen so getting a remaster with better graphics, extra DLC included and a higher frame rate? What the heck is there to complain about as I personally am not buying it again so just because YOU have already played it on another format don't assume the entire world has too. Just saying

I haven't played it, I'm a massive fan of TLOU / uncharted and FF games, got all those on ps4 remastered.
I'm kinda okay with it but the prices are a joke when they originally release, if I wanted to play older games why not do backwards compatibly? Sony have done it before why not now?
I think it's for the $$.
Would rather have new ip than remasters that's all.

Re: backward compatibility I thought it was because the PS3 architecture is so complex emulating it is ridiculously difficult.
