Very nice, except ebay takes about a year to give you the points. I am still waiting for my 2000 bonus points for selling something a month ago.

I've been invited by ebay for this offer. It's worth taking up, even if you do wait a while for the points. eBay has a lot of free list, half price selling fees Nectar promos etc these days, I wonder if their turnover is (hopefully) decreasing. Competition maybe?

Think you're wrong. Pretty sure the last item i sold i was offered 2000 bonus nectar points on. Then there was a 600 bonus for signing up to link your ebay with nectar spending. Then a x6 bonus on purchases a few weeks back.

Don't say what you don't know. Are ub ebay b promotions officer to make that bold statement? I have in the past earned 2000 nectar points for selling item for 99p.

I know you don't collect nectar points for selling, if you check the terms of the nectar ebay offer it only states on eligible purchases only and I sell on ebay I don't collect nectar points for selling anything.

I got the same 2000 points for an item sold offer (still have the email) so it definitely can happen though I would agree it is incredibly rare about 99% of them are for buying (or buying related).

Wish you got some kind of notification e.g. just an eBay message to let you know you have successfully qualified for the bonus points so you have some kind of proof. As by the time eBay have taken their 28 days to process you have often forgotten all about it and hence I bet many cases where the points aren't credited don't get chased up.....
