Not everyone will have the same offer. If you go to nectar.com and log in the main page should show a list of offers in individual boxes with "load to card" at the bottom of each offer box. But it's possible you won't have this offer

Don't forget that there is the nectar double up rewards promotion from Wednesday, posted on this site here:
I wouldn't cut into my nectar points now until I see what is in store this week.

Yep they did the same with the Nectar points when buying fuel at BP - different people got different amounts
And with the x times nectar points when you shop at ebay this week - I got x 5 but others got x 10 or x 3

Ah I see, well as long as it says 50% off that that is fine. I just thought it was odd they had the same terms and expiry date that is all.

because nectar offers often vary by person and the words on yours are different

Um, what makes everyone so sure it is 50% back? The wording I have is "Get 1,000 points back when you redeem £10 or more at Homebase. ". There is nothing to say you will get half back if you spend more than £10. Unless I have a different offer but the terms on the offer I have on my account look exactly the same as those posted here..
It sounds very much to me like the most you are getting back is 1000 points unless there are two different offers.

Doesn't say anything about that in the T&C. when there was a similar offer at eBay it was possible to do multiple transactions.

Just bought £500 worth of the £50 visa gift cards using Nectar points. They did have some 3Vs but they refused to activate as they were the really old ones.
