Posted this last month at a little bit dearer, and can confirm this edition is one of those plastic jumbo packs that have suddenly appeared on loads of box sets. At least that's what I received -.-

some of them have protection so they cannot be played on a PC, so cold from me.

Found this review from Amazon worth a read when deciding to buy...

Ok, there's no question for me, the content is awesome but this box set hasn't left thrilled.
The discs are housed in a not entirely sturdy single plastic case, but this case is enclosed in a card board box the looks like the images above. Problem is, it's a box, not a sleeve. It's practically impossible to open the thing without damaging the cardboard. Ugh. The US version, whilst still flimsy, has each season in its own cardboard box and it's all enclosed in a slot together box.
Anyway, once inside the discs are all in there. I use the term "all" loosely because unlike the American box set, this box set doesn't include the 4 feature films (Bender's Big Score, The Beast with a Billion Backs, Bender's Game and Into the Wild Green Yonder) nor is there room to cram them in. Booooo!
Next there's the decal graphics on the discs themselves. When season 5 to 8 were released on disc, they had a new flat cartoon style for the boxes and discs that ran through all the box sets, a quick amazon search will reveal what I'm talking about (Futurama season 5, for example)
Now, the US edition has the re-released seasons 1 to 4 that match the style of seasons 5 to 8, which is nice since each season features a different character from the series. In this box set, however, seasons 1 to 4 are the exact discs from the 2002 to 2004 releases so they don't match up, it almost feels like "old stock" in that respect.
This series really deserves a premium send off and I feel this box set is a little bit of a let down.
5/5 for the content, no questions, but 3/5 for the box set.

Tempted but I already have the 1-4 box set. Wondering how much I could get for that.

Probably about £5-10? I got 1-4 box sets individually off musicmagpie resellers for £2-3 each inc postage
Opening post
23 discs, 125 episodes.
