COS & Quidco are the same but as above COS & TCB are different so you can do both.

Can you do on both app? I tried once on pepsi cashback on Quidco and Checkoutsmart, both got rejected. This brings me to believe Quidco and Checkoutsmart are the same company and their cashback items are the same too somehow.

My tcb cashback said it had been rejected for this item and the t&c's have changed and now say you cant have cashback via tcb if you claimed via checkoutsmart! However mine has still gone thru - perhaps as mine was claimed on 10th nov before they cheekilly changed the rules - so anyone buying/submitting after that date will have theirs rejected I presume. Sneaky sneaky. I dont get why you cant claim on both if its different companies, spoilsports.

There would be no way for them to know you had claimed for the same item from each company since they are separate entities, unless they are sharing data. Why would rival companies share data?

I was just going to say the same are you sure you didn't do COS & Clicksnap as I did the deo yesterday on COS & TCB and it's gone through fine.

I'm absolutely certain that I am not confusing it with another as I do not use clicksnap for this very reason. It doesnt make sense to me either for them to be sharing info but they obviously are.

As above, I am not confused and the proof is in the links I have supplied. I assume you mean your receipt was accepted but hasnt made it to the payable stage. My receipt was submitted and was only 'rejected' later on (even tho it was actually accepted as I presume because I abided by original rules which expired on nov 10th). The support ticket just says the receipt has already been redeemed n I'm fairly sure I only uploaded it once which is what prompted me to check the t&c's..

Like I said, I uploaded mine on 10th and the support ticket came through on the 16th so hopefully yours will be accepted but according to the new t&cs it shouldn't be so dont be surprised if you get a support ticket this week.

It has gone to payable but this is new to me when did COS & TCB merge,a lot of people will get caught out with this,thanks for the info above.

I was just looking at other TCB offers & it doesn't mention COS in the ones I've looked at so this is all a bid odd & doesn't make any sense :neutral_face:

The thing is they are supposed to be two different companies so how do they know you've claimed it on COS too :neutral_face:

I've messaged them on Facebook asking if they are different companies how will they know if you use the same receipt on COS and TCB ,they said they will look into it,it maybe a couple of days.:confused:

This is looking odder... I saw that re this deodorant, COS appeared in the ts &cs... Now another load of COS offers have appeared on topcashback snap and save... ?

These offers may also be in other apps and the receipt is shared by Topcashback for validation and approval. No personal / member details are shared with CheckoutSmart for the validation of these receipts - we take data protection very seriously as explained in our privacy policy and both parties remain compliant.

Well, that's clear as mud. Doesn't explain why they care what a separate company is doing..

This was their follow up reply,so people will have to check the terms now before buying as you will need a different receipt if it's on COS as well.

Sometimes we do work in partnership with other companies to bring our members some great deals
