why are there sarcastic comments about something so petty. it costs £2-3 normally so yes it's a bargain price (heat from me btw) yes just about everything is 99p in a 99p store but that doesn't stop this being any less of a deal or good price. it's not a 'deal' from the store itself but they won't have stock long as they change it often so in that sense it is a deal. if you don't agree with it when clearly other people do, it's not compulsory to leave smart-alek comments, just move on to the next thing.

It's the natural progression of your original argument that says no matter what everyone else charges for it, it's not a deal when you pay 99p at a 99p shop. If this item was being sold for 99p in another store like TESCO for 99p then that is a deal.
Or if the 99p store was selling the item for 50p, then that is a deal.
