Nah I am not a FPS elitist or anything but there are several shooters that came in the PS3's later years that I think ran so badly that I wouldn't give them heat no matter what the price. One is far cry 3, Bordlerlands 2 in some sections was abysmal and the worst offender of all was Crysis 3. I would vote Crysis 3 on PS3 cold even if it was on sale for 10p its that bad.
Anyway I think its a sadder state of affairs when a game gets released that run like trash and people defend it because they have no standards.

What the hell, Far Cry 4 costs £12.50 and the bundle is £11.99 :confused:
Going to have to vote cold on this simply for the fact that far cry 3 was a horrible slideshow on ps3, I cant imagine what 4 is like on it. You would be better off just paying a little more and buying 4 alone on the next gen systems or 3 on pc if you have a reasonably decent pc.

Far Cry 4 alone is £12.50 and considering you haven't played it on PS3 it kind of voids your comment and vote. This is a deal site about value and here you are getting 2 games for less than the price of the latest one digital or physical.
P.s Far Cry 3 is in my top 5 PS3 games.

I am sure they magically made Far Cry 4 run at 60fps on the PS3 after its predecessor ran like garbage.
Far Cry 3 is also in my top 5 slideshows on PS3 so we have that in common at least.

FPS! Your one of them ain't ya. I have played FC3 twice through on the PS3 and I'm 20 hours in on FC4 and no complaints from me. You don't enjoy games cos your trying to keep up with your frames. It's a pretty sad gaming community we have these days.

Farcry 3 was one of my fave ps3 games. Pity this bundle don't include blood dragon as that was awesome aswell.

I'm actually not, I loved far cry 4 and was gutted when I'd done everything, but I'm assuming primal will have no real guns and vehicles (nb assuming, prove me wrong, please!)

It really wasn't that bad! Even multiplayer worked fine! GTA was a big game yet the PS3 could handle it!

tbf fc3 does run like crap on ps3. having said that im not sure his suggestion of just play it on a high end pc is a cost effective solution for most people.

Have you seen the trailer? There will be bows, spears etc. You can ride on animals. I think it won't be a full Far Cry offering as they are rumoured to be releasing FC5 shortly afterwards!

Far Cry 4 shows as a timed trial when I go to download it. Don't buy from the PS store very often so any ideas what this means?
yeah I seen it, but bows and spears only go so far till you fancy a grenade, or an rpg.

Having better framerates results in a much more enjoyable experience with all games and poor performance is definitely a justifiable reason to not buy a game. I don't see why it's bad to be cautious of how games run, especially in the case of an shooter.If you don't care about how it runs then fair enough but with new generation consoles, more people are starting to worry about if a game runs well and warning people if a game can only run cutscenes at 15fps (such as in this case) then people need to be made aware.

Maybe it's just me but sometimes I read comments on games being terrible etc and really wonder how I didn't notice at any point in my 50 hours of gameplay that it was just a horrible sideshow. Far Cry 3 on PS3 is an awesome game that is really worth experiencing...

Just saw this on PSN and had a good laugh, since it's hard not to miss it (with FC 4 being the first on the grid and the FC3/FC4 bundle on the third row). Oh and FC3 is £5.50 for anyone who just wants to play that.
