I wasn't going to ask the same thing! I've never played any of the others. Seen some gameplay and looks a bit much as in having to build bunk beds n stuff?! Unfortunately I'm one of those who loves amazing graphics and this looks a bit dated...

Ive not played all of the previous games, in fact 4 doesn't follow on from number 3.
Its a similar backdrop to number 3 though in that its a post apocalyptic world.
Rent some of the previous games or Fallout 4 to see if you like it

Great price though, this and TombRaider are easily the best games this year.

I've been told it's in between a ps3 game and a true next gen ps4 game in terms of graphics. I suppose with the amount of content, land, characters etc, it wasn't possible. however he did say the game is incredible, loads to do and slightly better then the witcher 3. which I thought would be game of the year. heat for the price and I am waiting until Christmas for the other half to get me this

17 Nov 15#25
"not to be sold separately" is different from "Not for sale in the UK" as it is usually from a bundle but some shops will not take "Not for sale in the UK" games.

I've just had a bloody nightmare with this Revolut thing.......just signed up in my wife's name, tried to use my card from our joint account to add the funds. Wouldn't allow me to do this, next thing, I have got the Fraud Department from my Bank on the phone wanting to know if I knew my card was being used, next thing, put funds into the account via my wife's card (from the same joint account), then Revolut wont let me withdraw funds wanting me to provide verification info in the form of photo id uploaded via their app. I don't have photo id, only old paper driving license which they said was not sufficient id, this was after submitting photos of my diving license and me holding my driving license!!!! In the end, they agreed to allow me to withdraw my money but refused me an account. All that to save a fiver!!! You have been warned

I've had fallout 4 from day one and I've been playing average of 6hrs per day. It's addictive. its not just about building beds and bunkers. The mission variety is awsome. so is the story. great value for money

17 Nov 15#49

This game is pretty unplayable on consoles, framerates are bad, there is alot of stutter and the visuals are not so impressive. Definitely a PC game.

17 Nov 15#54
Unplayable? I've completed the Railway Faction ending and the Institute ending. Now I'm going through the Brotherhood of Steel ending.
I always binge Bathesda games. 45 hours played on PS4 so far and it is hands down Bathesda's best offering on console. Skyrim and Oblivion ran like crap on 360 and PS3, long loading times and glitches and bugs gallore. Fallout 4 is nothing like those games.
The framerate dips sometimes, as does Bloodborne's and many other AAA games.
You're chatting out of your anus.

Apogee00
17 Nov 15#60
Just go to pay for it like normal with "pay with credit/debit card via PayPal" and enter your revolut card details. I know one guy said he had trouble paying before because it's PayPal but that's the first I've heard of it after helping about 20 people do it. IF it doesn't do it, try adding your revolut card details to your payment options in your PayPal account, once done try paying again but with the "pay with PayPal" option

Don't speak for everyone, as much as I've enjoyed this game, it's as buggy as last gen. Weird frame drops (to 0) at late game at really random times (like reloading a gun). The jank was novel last gen, now it's kind of sad that they haven't solved the issue on a set of hardware that's significantly more powerful. It's not a very well optimised console port compared to the slightly less buggy PC version.

Paid £40 for this on psn US and used it on two accounts so £20 each. Full of bugs!
I played Fallout 3 (I cant stand RPG) and I ventured too far and got bummed by some massive green mutants. Unfortunately I go stuck in a save loop which meant I couldnt escape him lol. Didn't play it again.
However, this year I bit the bullet with Witcher 3 (was desperate for a long play game) and was sceptic about it because it was a RPG but man....... I fudging loved that game. Thought it was probably the best game I have played on next gen.
Besides being FPS, fallout similar?

Btw guys I didn't pay via paypal with the Revolut at the checkout. I chose the MasterCard option (as they are the company behind it) because in the Revolut app there is an option create a virtual card and not order a physical one and then it will appear and just enter the details from that virtual card. For the billing address just enter your home address if your bank card is assigned to that, it's the one use when you topped up with £29.99 to the Revolut account. Hope that helps

and if you don't like it, CEX will buy it off you for £32 cash or £36 voucher, so you even make profit! ;-)

I've now played my friends fallout 4 and if you didn't like the 3rd. you may not like this. witcher 3 is epic and amazing value for money. fallout 4 certainly takes steps forward and it's more superior. I'd probably try a friends or use a online gaming rental free month and rent it first.
