Cold - bunch of little kids getting hyped up about a game usually shows its awful.
As for that albino dick with his thumbs up whats that all about.

I am loving this game. I don't need multiplayer or amazing graphics to enjoy a game. As long as it has a good story and plenty of content I'm hooked. Fallout 4 has both of these by the (steel) bucket load. I've put in about 30 hours now and not come across any bugs and I'm playing on a laptop. The graphics engine isn't a leap forward more a baby step forward, but who cares? Loading screens are slightly long (Usually 30 seconds) but the wait is worth it. The game play is immense. For less than £30 it's a bargain.

I'd rather wait for 6 months until modding community fixes all bugs and improves sub par graphics that would be average at best 4 years ago.

I'm already using mods from Nexus , particularly handy is the FOV tweaker- helps to alleviate that console type claustrophobic feel .
I agree with another previous commentators about the base building - I like it ,but there is that feeling of "what's the point? "

Its gash like all their games. Skyrim is still their most polished game to date and thats still buggy!
The game is fun but nothing ground breaking. Will be a tenner very soon. It goes to show you how much other companies fleece us. Steam wanted 50 quid!

Ah yeah if you put up a complaint on Twitter to just about any company now, they act on it as it's a publicly accessible complaint which is never a good thing if you're a company selling things. Glad it got sorted.

Yes, I did use PayPal. But it's fine. I raised a support ticket and tweeted the ID on twitter. They sorted me out with a new key about 30 minutes ago while they investigate what happened with my original one

Anyone had any dealings with their support? I've been sent a code that's been used already. I've raised a ticket but unsure how serious they will take it.

Did you pay with Paypal? If they don't take it seriously then raise a case with Paypal.

I noticed the graphics were missing first, then the story. If only teletext was still going you'd get more value out of the watching the late night teletext pages with easy listening jazz music accompanying them, those were the days. Fallout 4 overhyped, over rated, slightly boring and looks like someone took a cream doughnut, farted through it and said there you go, good as new.

Technical issues aside, I'm really enjoying it. My main problem is that a lot of the development seems to have gone on settlement building. What is the point when there is no online component, just random AI attacks? I simply don't have the time or patience to build one of them up, let alone a ton of them.
But I am enjoying it, the world and the atmosphere is brilliant. The weapons feel good and it's hilariously gory. The story is no great shakes but I don't play bethesda games for the story. It's missing the fresh feel of Fallout 3 (lots of samey npcs such as super mutants and raiders), and the wall-to-wall landmarks that was Washington DC, but overall, it's good stuff. Tell the truth, do you recognise anywhere in F4 that is in the real world?
Doubt it will have the staying power of Skyrim, but maybe it's not a fair comparison, the fantasy genre has more wiggle room than the fallout universe. I do wonder if they would have chosen a different location to Boston if the lore didn't pretty much dictate it.

I do think it is massively overrated but well worth £25. This franchise deserved a hell of a lot more and they could have pushed the boundaries. There is still a hell of lot of game here though, it's just such a wasted opportunity by the developer. Something is definitely missing.

I have put over 70 hours into Fallout 4 now and I honestly wouldn't recommend it.
It's not bad... it's just not good enough to be another Fallout. It has plenty of gamebreaking bugs, the story and characters are uninspired, dialogue is crap and the only 'choices' in your story come down to picking who to murder. The engine is also so outdated it's crazy. Loading screens everywhere.
Just get it when GOTY comes out for with DLC for like half the price and then install mods fixing the core issues.
If you haven't played Fallout New Vegas buy that in the current Steam Sale. It has plenty of problems too but at least the story is great.

Slightly confused here. The image posted shows normal prices such as £19.99 but its £21.99 on the site. Sure you add the code CDKEYSBLACK10 to bring the price down but it doesn't go to £19.99.
This make me wonder if there are any further discounts still to be added. So the price drops to £19.99 and you can still use the code.

Was about to order but can only use 1 code so can't get the further 5% off for Facebook like. I don't need the code yet as it's a Christmas present so think I am going to hold off and hope the price drops in a few weeks, if not I can still get 5% off so have only lost out on potential £1.50 saving.

I love Fallout 4 not because it's a great game, but because it runs on Ultra on my R9 270 2GB, makes me think I have a decent graphics card, I don't and the graphics are awful in Fallout 4, I mean proper awful!, but Ultra makes me feel awesome

Thanks  Just bought Fallout 4 on PC for £27.54 with the 5% discount code for liking them on FB as a new customer.
First time ordering and so far fast in delivery the email, the bit on submitting your mobile number for pin verification is fine for your CD key unlike some others and good to know up-front: "Your number will strictly only be used to verify your order and will not be used for any marketing purposes."
Now I have something to play up to Christmas and not buying it full price was very hard  Was awaiting a drop of around £30 since that is what I find a reasonable price for a PC title - moreso a buggy Bethesda title even though they are incredibly addictive. Found console versions in supermarkets were selling for £40, imo PC should always be less since there's no Sony/MS tax.

Games like Fallout used to go cheap really quick. They've kind of realised they can keep games like this full price for ridiculously long now. *cough* Fallout, Metal Gear, GTAV *cough*
