Well I'm glad there are exceptions. I come across 'experienced' IT every day with my work and simple statements like UNC and how to use the NET USE functionality are foreign concepts.
I don't pretend to be an IT genius with my HND in technical support, purely because my experience has diversified into application support. I'm just astounded at how little some IT people know and are willing to take ownership of.

Not really...running Server 2012 here..however budgets don't always allow this. On the other note you can't know everything about everything and I am a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer with 15 years experience etc

Cool idea but I wouldn't have a use for it personally. probably good for a kids room, mount it on the ceiling so no power cables in their reach or monitor cables. Then use a wireless mouse and keyboard. But it at 75 lumens your going to need a totally dark room to be able to see anything worthwhile.

You have to fit your own hard drive and memory, both are laptop size. Also it's a very low resolution and lumens your not going to be replacing a tv with it.

Only 75 lumens from this so don't set your expectations too high.
Similar light output to a basic pico pocket projector.
i love the idea of these great idea. Can i justify buying one...

I feel the same... so do these even have a hard drive anyways or do you just run Windows from a usb stick? and what's it gonna look like playing movies off a white wall? better than a tv? hmmm too many questions!

£20 discount on this is pretty decent given what you get for your money. I assume that the projector hasn't been sitting on constantly for the last 3 months. Does anyone have any experience of ebuyer's ex-display stock?

They don't have any stores and so are highly unlikely to be ex demo - I think most people assume they're actually customer returns.
