Also possible 6.3% cash back from toipcashback making it £94.92.
No customs duty as worth under £135.
May get caught for VAT, but that would only be £20.
Seems a good price to me.
Would like a Nexus 6p, but this is a quarter of the price.
I quite fancy having a phone that I don't mind too much when it gets broken having my 5 year old and 1 year old attacking me constantly.

If you'd stuck 'Eragon v5 XDA' in to Google you'd have found this link. It utterly amazes me that people can't use a simple search engine. You definitely don't want to go anywhere near a custom ROM if you can't use Google, I'm being serious!
Also don't register on that forum and ask obvious questions which have already been answered as they'll shoot you down in flames. I must be in a bad mood today, anyway there's the link for you above.

Well today I took delivery of the Umi Iron that was on Amazon for £118 with next day delivery.
This was to replace my Elephone P8 Pro that decided it did not want to make any sounds any more.
I must say at first impression that the Umi is excellent value and it also allows dual data access for both sims. The only drawback is that 1 sim must be sacrificed if you want to use a MicroSD card.

Great phone, upgraded from a mobile with 2,000mah battery that would die after a few hours of 8 ball pool. The P8000 lasts me and day until bed even when I'm using it constantly!

I would be coming from a iPhone 4s thats battery barely last till lunchtime, with pretty light use.

Which is why you shouldn't buy phones with non-removable batteries...

Great spec for the money, but they mislead you with the screen and bezel, yes the screen is the quoted size and the bezel looks slimline but in reality the screen has small black borders at the top and bottom of the screen, do a YouTube search. This is no way a deal breaker but should be made aware to potential buyers!

yeah that's what put me off this phone, the bezel is really quite thick and you don't feel like you're getting a huge full screen experience

Me too - waiting two months for my headphones - contacted them and they told me to wait 60 working days before they would consider investigating.
The black bezel around the screen is a deal breaker for me. SU6 over this everyday of the week.

My girlfriend has this phone. A few bugs here and there with the phone but they are fixable if you search online and for this price its a really good deal! I bought it for her for 159USD so 153USD is a deal nice find OP

Thanks for the post. Just ordered. I paid extra for the expedite delivery and insurance, so total before cash back came to around £104. Just waiting to see how much cash back got tracked.

The stock ROM was a bit buggy in my experience. I had some issues with the camera crashing and not being accessible until reboot. I don't really recommend China phones to anyone not prepared to get their hands dirty by flashing/modifying the stock ROMs -- tends to be that is their weakest area, while the hardware itself is solid.
I'm using Eragon v5 from the XDA forums and I'm very happy with it. I get about 5-6 hours screen-on average over the space of two to three days.

Excellent build quality, I get 2 days of light to medium usage also I agree that the first couple of versions of the firmware had a few bugs but the newest version I find is OK. For the price it's a good buy in my opinion. In my experience if you get it sent via the free methods that FocalPrice, Gearbest, Coolicool or DX offer it's more likely to get through without customs taking an interest in the package. Out of the last 4 occasions I have ordered products via the fastest method from China 3 parcels have had customs stop them.

I have this phone after my one plus broke. It does not compares to one plus, but for one third price of one plus. I will say is much better, yes software is buggy. Cameras is OK. Sounds is ok as well but the battery is great. Lasts for 24 hours plus with music sat nav and calls 7/10

I agree with fishmaster in principle -- honestly, if you're not able to fix the worst case scenario i.e. bricking your phone, just don't bother.
I have to say, the process to getting this up and running was nowhere nearly as smooth as every other phone (HTC Desire, Desire Z, One X, Samsung S3 LTE, S4 Mini) I've rooted/installed custom recovery and flashed ROMs on. There is nowhere nearly as much knowledge in the community, and it's very possible that you could run into an issue that no-one has tackled yet on any of the forums.
I mean, yes there is an XDA forum but it's extremely sparse and quiet.

to be fair, he has a good point. it would have took 5 seconds to google those three words. and flashing roms/rooting phones isn't for the light hearted. he may have put it not quite as eloquently and polite as he could have, but his assumptions and warnings are valid.

just placed the order CHAMPAGNE - came up $154.83 - I think it came up about £103. I have looked at paypal transaction but its not giving me allot of details at the moment,
Why will it come to £103? It is being delivered from China. Hopefully there will be no Customs duty to pay.

maybe that colour was ever so slightly more expensive... for the sake of £1.50 difference, who cares?
you could select where it can be delivered from on the product page, EU, China and HK i think are the options, the cheapest and i think the only one in stock was HK so thats where yours will be shipping from.
customs, well hopefully not, but you never know. always be prepared to pay that extra 20-30quid. either way, even at £150 its a lot of phone for your money. so sit back and relax

I bought this phone from eBay UK for £105 with 1 year warranty. I own iPhone 5s, 5c, & 6s plus. I love iPhone and I am a fan.
However, this p8000 beats all my apple product. I can't believe that I used this phone for two days with charging!!!
My iPhones must be charge at least 2-3 times daily because of Facebook and Whatsapp usage but this phone naaaaa. Never liked android, but man, I am in love with this phone. I hope this phone lasts 12mo this for.

Anybody with this phone comment about the charging time? Mine is on 47% and says it will be another 7 hours until fully charged. I know it's a decent battery but is that a bit crazy? I'm not using the Elephone charger as looked like a cheap Apple copy I'm using a Samsung one.
