I don't have Alcatel 10.13, but have 10.10 and it doesn't have countdown timer. Only has Alarm, Calculator, FM Radio.

Argh! Went to edit my last comment and accidentally deleted it instead! :disappointed:
Anyway to repeat what I said before, the following network's SIMs will work in this phone without the need for unlocking:
EE
Orange
T-Mobile
Asda Mobile
Virgin Mobile
Post Office Mobile
The People's Operator (TPO)
BT Mobile
The Co-operative Mobile
LIFE Mobile
Went to edit the last comment to give an update regarding Vectone and Delight.
From past experiences with basic EE locked phones, Vectone and Delight don't tend to work in them despite those networks both using EE as their host network. I don't really know why this is. You'll need to get it unlocked if you wish to take advantage of Delight Mobile's cheap 3p/minute, 2p/text rates.

I did this with Fast Track on a Nokia and the SIM had £10 credit, but the sim also stopped working after a week (having used hardly any credit), but then I got a SIM from BT anyway which is on the same network as EE

Anyone know how the 'receive Argos gift vouchers for trading in your old phone' works? Featured on website but says details in store.

Thanks very much OP! I only paid £2.49, do I have to buy the top up separately?

If someone has credit on a old sim to use you wouldn’t have to if using it as a emergency phone ! And then it would only cost you £2.49 Fast Track' option you could use it as a light and a radio if you wish. :smirk:

As has been highlighted on here in other previous postings for mobile phones from Argos if you choose to use the 'Fast Track' option for collection from store you only pay £2.49! Tested and works! HOT to OP!

Yes you are right to use the Fast Track option I have done this and only paid for the phone but I could not post this saying that unfortunately :smirk:
