John Lewis have the Dyson DC40. I was looking at Currys where it is currently £299.
I asked them to do a price match which they did - bonus !!

Had to return the DC40 after my DC18 packed up. DC40 isn't great on carpets, and is a complete pain to manoeuvre. Test before you buy, wish I had. It's a pain returning a vacuum cleaner.

I just bought one last week from Currys for £189 , had I not been returning a faulty Shark hoover I would have preferred to buy from JL.

Cold, sorry. Got mine direct from Dyson for £179.99 with free accessory kit on Friday just by phoning up rather than buying on line

So I assume you rang and haggled a bit as its £220 online at Dyson...I have a friend looking so just need to know the deal is reproducible.
