Serious question...I have a problem with a watch that keeps becoming magnetised (apparently is becoming far more common due to the prevalence of hand-held electronic devices), would this be suitable for de-magnetising it, or would it simply be too small/weak to be suitable?

actually the Chinese invented the divination needle, they used to use it for divination. It was the Muslims who turned them into compasses, and applied it practically by making them portable and applying it to sea faring voyages and land travel.

Same way Chinese invented gunpowder but largely used to use it for fireworks, while the Muslims turned it into canons and guns.

Same way the Chinese invented the printing press but didn't use it. Centuries before the Gutenberg.

When you think about it, they really missed the boat with not applying these things correctly. Whilst the Muslims did turn the Chinese discoveries into practical real world inventions. Which the west then copied and used to colonise the world, including the Muslims and Chinese. Ironic.

I have this one. it's ok I magnetised all my little screwdrivers so the tiny screws stick to them.

no comment on the women thing. but that's all the use I get out of this thing is the screws. no chance of it cooking anything though :smiley:
