Driveclub Bikes is excellent, arguably better than the cars.... it's very frantic and takes a little getting used to the sensitive controls but once you get used to it, it's great fun.... plus you can do doughnuts...

I'd love to get back into Driveclub again but the developer has still not added support for the Fanatec wheels (And I'm guessing probably never will!)
Played well with the Thrustmaster T300 (Now sold!) but I'm not going back to a controller... :disappointed:

I have Drive Club and Season Pass and when I go to the PSN store web page its showing as 11.99 for me. But when I try to add it to basket it says I am ineligible for this purchase. Any ideas folks?
edit:
not Drive Clubs fault. Damn PS Store cookies playing up again. Quick browser clean and re login and all works!

Hmm...if the handling is better than the car version...then I would be tempted to have a look at this.
Does anywhere happen to mention the number of bikes etc? Oh, edit:
• Attack all 78 DRIVECLUB tracks as you race the world’s best superbikes from Yamaha, Ducati, Kawasaki, Honda, Bimota, BMW and more!
• Immerse yourself in authentic superbike racing: it’s easy to learn for newcomers, yet deeply nuanced for experienced riders.
• Go it alone in the offline Tour campaign with 42 events including Races, Time Trials, Skill challenges and Championship events.
• Customise your bikes and racing leathers.
• Choose from simulation or arcade camera views: first person rider, handlebar, dash, front wheel, near chase and far chase.
• Earn new Accolades and Trophies – including the prestigious DRIVECLUB Bikes Platinum Trophy.
Not sure on # of bikes, but looks like all the original tracks are in there.

12 bikes by the look of things (one of the trophy descriptions is "unlock all 12 bikes" or something along those lines)

Ah if you open from within the game then I guess I will need to put my disc in for it to work. I checked the store and the standalone version is unavailable for me. Probably because it knows i have the game and doesn't want to get people confused between the two. Would have liked to been able to start it up without the need of the disc.

I own driveclub digitally but do believe this is a standalone game. It opens up within driveclub for me, maybe because I own driveclub but all the reports on the game say its standalone. Cant really give you a definitive answer mate im affraid

Do you have a physical copy of Driveclub or is yours digital? I have the disc and now looking to buy this but first just need to know do i need to put the disc copy in for it to work or does it just recognise I have played it so can play without using the disc?

The handling was a bit of a shock at first, but it seems okay once you've done a few laps. It's quite satisfying taking a long swoopy turn which would have been 2 or 3 separate corners in a car.
The equivalent of the drift challenges are quite enjoyable, with you having to perform wheelies, endos and beat speed traps.
No new tracks, but as with the cars, all 12 bikes have their own leaderboards for each track. If you like Time Trialling, this is great value.

Downloading now
Still play Driveclub weekly so this is a no brainer for me, can't wait to get on it :sunglasses:
Didn't expect a second platinum neither, thought it would've just been a bunch of bronze, silver and golds.
Bit more of a Dev interview for anyone interested:
You can fall off but its definitely not common. Just completed a snow spring which was amazing, its a good game, before this post I literally had no idea this was even in the works!

how would you compare the control of them? I love driveclub but the super cars are just ridiculous to control for me, and I've managed to complete it too!

Playing now lol. Control is great! Really easy to handle, im no pro at racing games and it seems smooth. Honestly its a great little game! IMO much easier than the cars to drive!

Sounds good! Can you fall off the bike or anything like that? Would be very interesting to see what it's like on snow.

I did the first couple of events and going to get back on after the football. Its good! I really like it, handling seems good, its driveclub on two wheels basically, a whole new tour, new trophy list, from what I've played it seems a good game
Went ahead and bought it. Loved driveclub and it kept me busy for weeks when it first came out. Really hoping this is going to be good. For £11.99 it was a no brainer!

I agree with tomtom about the discount for those who bought this at launch.
I still feel pretty annoyed that I payed full price for this at launch for a game that at the time was quite simply broken, I tried to get a refund at the time but Sony refused and now y can buy it with the season pass for £15!
Stupidly it's a great game now from what I hear but (and I know I cut my nose off to spite my face on this) but I never really played it following the launch issues despite having paid full price.

P.S the above comment was aimed at the discount of £2, not the actual pricing of the standalone game.
To be honest, I would have hoped / liked that the discount would have been a tad more than £2 for those with say, the Season Pass for example.

Actually Looks like on the Playstation store the game is £15.99 and £11.99 for those who Driveclub. This doesn't match the Playstation Blog statement
