Not been a fan of DM's since they moved production to the far east..... but i like the look of these.
Looks like thicker leather than the thin crap they use for their classic 1460 now as well.
May have taken a punt, but not in my size 10.

Can they resole Dr martens?
aldarcy to jldevoy

You can get DM's resoled, but TBH unless they're really really special, you'd be cheaper to buy new ones. I asked a couple of years ago and was told it woud be around £45.

I remember a saying from the early 70's involving D.M's - I've got a tear in my Air-wear". They could be repaired by heating a knife and sealing the tear with it.

Am I boovered ?
Better off with screwfix and one of their many ranges of 'site' brand boots, some with steel toe caps, steel protectors in the soles and anti slip tread, and more cheap than DMs!

I see they do boots for life for £165, but i suspect its like insurance...they'd find a lot of reasons not to repair/replace them.

HOT! Not often can find larger sizes on sale. These run a bit narrow, but leather is a lot softer than some others. Free delivery and returns is great too. Cheers OP.
