​Giffgaff are much more reliable, I'm with giffgaff and have been for years without a single issue, but having posted this deal, I thought I would try ID out. I couldn't even register my new sim card and when calling customer services to try to fix the issue, I kept getting passed from one person to another and even a different company at one point, each telling me a different reason as to what the problem was and no one able to fix it. So after about a week of phone calls and getting nowhere, I called to cancel my plan which they only agreed to do after being told I was recording them. But having said that, if you can register the sim, they may well be a great company, as long as you don't have to deal with customer services.

Fine for me so far, signal better on three than o2 imo but may depend on area. 3G/4G working well, no difference from ee.

just curious as how long the port took.

recently transferred to the post ofice and that was done by the next morning, but now have this idmobile sim because post office changed their allowances

It's worth trying. I can't see how they can dispute it. It's clear as day all over their website for all to see. In fairness i've had no issues so far with the speeds but haven't used it loads.

But it is worrying how both their customer services helpline and their FB team cannot sort a seemingly easy issue out. How hard can it be to go and upgrade my data???

Hi. Unfortunately there was an initial issue with this plan, however things have been corrected now so new customers who take out a double data plans shouldn't be have any problems.

All effected customers should have had their plans corrected to have the double data on them. Are your allowances showing correctly on your account?

Hi. The £12.50 for 6GB is still available on our site, but yes you would need a PAC code from Three to keep your number. We've made keeping your number extra simple, you can easily do it through your iD Account once you have your PAC code.

​I believe is just for the twelve months, but who knows what deals they'll have next Black Friday and it is a one month contract after all so you can easily change if you wish.

Hi. Yes double data is applied to the plan for a full 12 months. After 12 months the plan will still exist, but the double data allowance will come off and return to the normal allowance - i.e. £10 = 4GB for 12 months, after 12 months this will becomre 2GB.

The double data is Shirley already included. The £7.50 plan for example only had 1GB of data before the offer.

I believe the network operates off the 3 network, so you still get same perk as 3 customers of free roaming.

I just ported to them Friday, will message CS but doubt they'll do anything.

​that's standard practice with every mobile network I'm afraid.... need to port the number to another network and then port it back. Daft I know. .
