Are there different versions of this toy? Some people are selling it on Ebay new and delivered for around £7, others for £25 plus. They all look the same!

there are replica versions of disney cars from China.. u just have to check each version against each other.. that's what I did with some purchases if that helps.. some people do actually just put ridiculous prices on disney items

Yes the cheap ones are just a small truck, the dearer ones are a large truck that opens up into a playset.

Amazon have a policy where if the price is reduced within 7 days you can claim the difference back, not sure how it would work if you have used a 3 for 2 offer.

Still showing in stock. But I'm still not convinced this is the same as the more expensive ones. It is described as 'Style A' and it is the ones on Ebay labelled 'Style A' that are all cheap.
