I got 40 quid in vouchers. They honoured my copy

Managed to get a copy of Destiny in-store for £26 but it didn't half take some effort. Had to show my order email several times. Had my grocery order refunded and processed this one separately.

All say unavailable, missed out again :*(

Just went to collect Destiny TKK, COD and Halo - all repriced so cancelled then and there.

Thankfully I was not making a specific journey. Also was told refund would be on tomorrow, assuming that is correct and they actually took the money then personally I am disgusted they would take the money before I collected, in particular when the price increased so much and I was not advised.

Maybe it was all deliberate to earn Tescos some interest overnight!!

Sounds like I should just cancel then. I popped down delivery in a week, by which time the prices will surely be different.

I thought payment had already gone through, and that it'd either be honoured or cancelled, but the whole guide price sounds a hassle if they end up delivering it but charging full price.

Tempted to take a punt, but does anyone know if Tesco tend to honour this kind of thing?

At the bottom of your 1st order confirmation e-mail, this is what encouraged me to phone Tesco, who then confirmed this to be true.

Edit: found a few tweets, seriously horrendous service if tesco consider it acceptable not to mention they will be charging full price come tomorrow or not contacting cusomters/cancelling orders automatically.


Edit2: Found the bit on site regarding the guide price BS. They should seriously inform people or cancel orders if they misprice something, not expect customers to chase around after them. Seriously put me off tesco this has, could simply bulk cancel or bulk email everyone and become gods on the customers service side, instead could catch many people unaware.
(And thanks for posting about this guide price stuff, i will be much much more aware about misprices in future and tesco is off my list of shops to use.)

Have hope guys, Tesco honored the purchase when I bought Fifa 15 ultimate team edition on ps4 for a fiver last year.

But I picked up from store, rather than delivery.

Contacted by Tesco's on Twitter after ringing to query my order. They are not honouring the £26 on DTK either. This is my first click & collect experience. Woeful.

Ordered DestinyTK for XB1 about 30 mins after this was posted, just checked order and now says item removed due to a technical issue.

I've either got to look at this site a lot more or a lot less, currently I seem to be running one hour too slow for the deals I want to get.

I love the (apparently popular) idea that Tesco wouldn't notice a huge spike in orders on some clearly mispriced items, but would suddenly spring into action to cancel orders as soon as a HUKD member asks them about it. :smiley:

Surely they'll just cancel? They can't suddenly whop a great chunk of cash out of your account after you only agreed to pay £45...

Tesco just said on Twitter to someone that they wouldn't honour the £9 blops3 or £10 HaloV. Sorry guys :disappointed: not surprised though. Cancelled mine whilst I could so I didn't get charged

Ive ordered 5 for pick up tonight but says total left to pay £45 does that mean i pay at the store

Cheers buddy, just checked their T&C's and it says "just hand it back to the delivery driver or click and collect cashier and we'll issue you a refund in 14 days the same method of which you paid for the items". Looks like that'll be happening tonight then by the sounds of it :disappointed: can't really blame tesco tbh, a lot of money to lose on their behalf

If they charge full price, does anyone know what the cancellation policy is upon collection? Or do you just accept and do a return?

Some people on FB GameTrader group saying they called Tesco and they said "you'll be charged full price upon collection or delivery, the basket was just the guide price" because it was a misprice on the website. Looks like either cancel yourself or expect to pay full price

Much improved over the original release. Good price!

Should note: There is no resale value to this as the disc is simply the original game (if you could find a box of the original game you'd be able to sell it for £4 to £5). You get codes for the DLC that was released and a code for the main expansion.

They've probably seen a surge in sales and noticed the pricing error :smiley: roll on 6PM collection!

It says unavailable on my order of you try to amend anything, but price of the order has stayed the same, so don't change your delivery or collection slot and hope they honour the price!!

I can see this being honoured but have my doubts about halo 5 they will either find a replacement or charge you full price
