I wasn't glad that it isn't halal. I was pointing out the double standards. If this was titled "Cofresh Halal Snacks", it would be freezing cold with a good dose of abuse against the product and muslims. It's good that this is halal!

You're complexly wrong Cofresh was setup by Indian family with little cash making traditional Indian snacks for Indians back in the 70's. You can read more here:
Cofresh is made vegetarian Hindus - Halal is irrelevant.

How has a post about veggie snacks turned into a conversation about meat?

Don't mention Halal, just disguise it by mentioning Kosher.

The irony is that kosher is also halal! (though not vice versa)

Thanks for clarifying! I think we both agree on that. If water was labelled halal (which all water is I think), people would be in uproar. I think Kellogs Cornflakes are halal by the way

According to Morrison's website, all the 80g potato snacks listed in the post are 'Suitable for Vegetarians'.
Also noticed on Morrison's website that the 325g bags of Cofresh spicy snacks; Bombay Mix, Jalfrezi Mix, London Mix, etc are 2 for £1.

I dunno. The guy I replied is the one who is glad they aren't halal. Having looked at the ingredients, they look halal without a stamp to say so. No pork. No alcohol.
