They're back again, available to buy in the cinemas for £20 and online 'soon' for £24.50 due to postage. There's also going to be an e-gift version - 'coming soon'.
Box contains:
* 2 x Adult 2D or 3D tickets for use at any Cineworld cinema
* Soft Drink and Popcorn voucher (2 x regular soft drinks and 1 x regular popcorn)
* 2 x Merryteaser Chocolates.
Vouchers valid from 26.12.15 to 30.06.16.
Last year I was able to purchase one of these with a regular Cineworld giftcard. Worth considering the 150 bonus Clubcard points in Tesco for a £50 branded giftcard spend - https://www.giftcards.tesco.com/help/page1 Suggest double checking with your cinema first that this will be possible as I haven't tried this year.
No Amex deal to combine this year (yet?) sadly!

I'd prefer to Netflix and Chill, it's cheaper, warmer and has a much happier ending :wink:

Saw this advertised there yesterday thought the same, but then again a real hotukdealer would go on a Tuesday or Wednesday, take their own popcorn a quid a bag or less and still have a tenner :smiley:

If you use it to its full advantage, e.g. Saturday night, 3D film, 2 people, medium popcorn, 2 regular drinks.....it's at least a £10 saving. Oh and you get some chocolates. :sunglasses: Their site is back up now and says 'save over £10' based on average adult 3D ticket price - http://www.cineworld.co.uk/gifts

Or even get the £1 per bag maltesers until you got enough for a ticket and sneak them in (re-sealed of course)
My best night was the tic tac night cost me £1.60 and £1 candy King from Poundland (this was before Wilko went half price so don't be going at me! :wink: )
If you want a good deal for 3D showings and the flexibility of going at peak time, would normally buy or not turn your nose up at soft drinks and popcorn and happen to like Maltesers, then this giftbox may be just the thing. It's actually quite nice to give as a gift too, rather then keep for yourself :wink:

they no longer accept travel insurance for the meerkat movies offer.
I was about to purchase these, but a second email to them confirmed that they aren't valid for IMAX movies. :disappointed:

It's so annoying that these only last 6 months, there's £20 down the drain.

Sorry to hear, but did mention it in the OP. I don't know if it's worth having a chat with your local cinema seeing if they'd offer any discount in exchange as an offer of good will?

Thinking of buying two of these as it would work out cheaper than paying a family of 5 price online (£68.23).
