They have been this price for weeks now. It may be a permanent thing.

Most supermarket ISBs produce cheese topped batons, but the Tesco ones are probably the worst of the lot.

Been this price for well over a year now , so whats the deal .
I should know my bro in law is a baker at tesco .

Makes me sad when supermarket bosses decide to do these sort of deals as it massively adds to the workload of the bakers and other staff in the bakery. After all costs the Tesco would be lucky to break even on these. Plus who needs 4 cheese batons!

Ever heard of a freezer?
I think the 12 tiger rolls for a £ is a better deal

Nowhere near as good as Sainsbury. You can also mix and match all 4 varieties (plain, tiger, cheese and seeded). Oddly they took the sign down in the Abingdon branch a few weeks ago, but they still go through Quick Check and 4 for £1.

Horrible. I wouldn't mind the cheese but the bread itself has the cheapest texture I've ever tasted. It must be mixed with sand and cement.

theyve been this price around a year ... you can mix and match with other batons. I don'r rate tescos at all for any bread other than their brown buns though .... asda/morissons a lot better in my opinion

Freezing bread defeats the point of buying fresh bread, which I doubt these actually are they probably come in part baked and frozen so in effect you are actually refreezing them!

Let me know where I can get 12 fresh tiger rolls for a quid
Can't say I have ever noticed any difference after defrosting
It's the idiots who store bread in the fridge that make me chuckle
Makes bread go stale quicker

No. Still 12 for £1 online
Taste great
Even after a month in the freezer

The fact that you can't tell the difference between them being fresh or defrosted may be an indication of the poor quality!
Opening post
