Season pass retails for £35 anyway, so to have it reduced plus get a free £5 PSN top up makes the deal even sweeter!
Enjoy! :)

Yip great deal. Pay £40 for the game followed up with this for content which they should have included in the game in the first place. Mugs

Why do you people constantly post this same rubbish?
Have you just woken up to console gaming or most gaming that offers DLC for that matter, you don't like it don't buy it, simple as that.

It's no different to any COD that's been released. You buy the game, then the extra DLC map pack cost ~£10-£12 each, or less if you buy the Season Pass. Millions of pounds go into the game and the DLC, they've got to make money somehow!

U don't have to pay more? It's optional..
The game itself has the most content for any call of duty game in history.. By far! Take it or leave it Colin! It would be nice if it was free but it's not.. You can cry about being ripped of all u like no one cares least of all treyarch pay it and enjoy..

Do people even know what the content is? I can understand pre-ordering if you know what you are getting. But why would you buy somthing unless you know what it is you are getting? It's probably just me getting old.

usually maps and a zombie map and maybe an extra gun. Only one season pass ive never bought is AW cause I wasnt keen on the game but I want the zombies mode!

9 Nov 15#14
Most previous packs contain at least 3 maps per pack either for multiplayer or zombies, at this price of £8.25 a pack i'd be happy with that, compared to buying the packs individually at £13-£15

Crazy to think they charge an extra £40 for a few extra maps when they charge the same for the whole game! Single player, multiplayer etc.
I guess the map designers are on 7 figure salaries?

9 Nov 15#17
So you think it will be multiple maps per DLC release?
I have never bought a season pass before, I know it differs from game to game but I thought that it would be only 4 maps?
As you can see it's 5/6 maps per pack and 2 guns across the 4 packs
Fairly confident it'll be more than 1 map per pack

Or do what I did and buy £40 PSN credit for £35 from cdkeys with discount code so makes the season pass £30

I think you also get the bonus Zombies map "Giant " with the season pass on the PS4. Not sure about the XB1 and PC. You get that right away as well. It may be worth mentioning in the OP. No nuketown map though which is annoying.

Over $11bn revenue for the series to Nov 2014... I think they've made their money back many times over!!
People buy houses and then spend money adding to them, people buy cars and then spend a small fortune making them faster etc, £10 to extend the life of a game is still pretty cheap in my eyes!

10 Nov 15#25
Different strokes for different folks and all that but.
They'll be another cod out this time next year and another season pass. That's £75 per year. Madness
kiish
10 Nov 15#26
Lol, you seriously can't be comparing cars and home improvements to cod season pass. They all last several years, cod lasts a year or two at best and then dumped away.
ando
10 Nov 15#27
Considering the comparisons cost considerably more his point Is valid, games are hardly dumped away, black ops 1 and 2 are still being played today.
Certain people can't justify dlc , while other people see it for what it is, a expansion on the base game, with possibly thousands of hours of replay value.
LocoMoFo9999

You arent forced to buying the DLC. The game still works fine when the new maps are released if you are happy with that. Personally, after 3 months I'll welcome some new maps to freshen up the game. If they'd released it all at once at the start, people will complain after a while that its getting boring with the same maps.
najim95ali
10 Nov 15#30
I know I'll be playing black ops 3 for at least 2 years, even if I get the new call of duty games that come out.
black ops has a unique game play style as opposed to advanced warfare or ghosts. I love the zombie mode and I will always buy the DLC, mostly because of the zombie map packs.
I honestly don't know why people always complain about such things, people are going to buy it anyway, so why not get a good deal? that's why I use HUKD...
JimmyKFace
10 Nov 151#31
I'm assuming this is for multiplayer stuff only? I tend to buy these COD games on day of release for the campaign, blitz them for a couple of days, sad I know, and then sell them. Got Black Ops 3 for £35.99 with my weekly Sainsbury shop and sold it yesterday for £36. cant really complain for a full weekends of gaming, finishing the campaign, playing a bit of Zombies (which I do enjoy) and confirming my dislike for the actual multiplayer when folks are at level 40+ after the games been out two days.
djwilko
10 Nov 15#33
To be honest, when I was a few years younger I used to buy the map packs. But this when they were an extra £6-10 not £33 for a "season pass".
I won't buy it, maybe I would if I gamed as much as I used to. Just find it hard to believe that they charge £40 for a full my developed console game, then £33 for a few extra maps because they know gamers will buy them.
Such a shame!

Even though they make millions from selling the game anyway, I guarantee you they sold over 4 million copies of black ops 3 already and could reach a huge 15 million which will obviously profit them entirely, so what's the point taking stuff out the game just so you can make more money of their loyal buyers...
ajavaid92
