Thanks, but what about sound quality? (As you can probably tell I'm a bit of an noob)
The KitSound has Optical Port, Bluetooth to connect your BT devices to for playback, USB port for playback from a pendrive (Perhaps external USB powered HDD?) & doubles up as a charging port for your mobile phone. Better value all round. Poor remote though & less wattage than the BUSH.

For the people saying this is rubbish, whats the one you'd get on a tight budget?

Save your shoe leather and simply flush £39 down the toilet rather than wasting time buying this rubbish...

What would you recommend then as an alternative

I had one of these, not too bad for a small room. Don't think you're gonna get up to '100w' without distortion.
Was happy with mine but I only paid £20 at a dodgy boot sale!

I have a Bluetooth one in my lounge and an aux in my bedroom.... My bedroom one will be passed into my sister as I don't use it simply because my aux doesn't stretch across my room. If you love playing music front our sound bar then best to get a Bluetooth one so you can still use your phone otherwise brilliant deal

You can always get a long AUX cable off ebay.

Come one guys, realistically for most people this will be fine. Not everyone's an audiophile.

I wouldn't. If you want decent quality audio for your TV, I'd spend a bit more and buy something other than a cheap Argos own-brand soundbar. It might be better than your TV's built-in audio if you're using a cheap Argos own-brand TV, but don't expect it to be anywhere near good.

This may be OK for a bedroom or a very cheap TV but I really wouldn't recommend it for your main lounge TV. I have to agree with other comments, try and get one with a wireless sub for big screens/rooms but they are of course more expensive than these.
For a spare/bedroom TV, its ok for the price but I think you won't notice much of a difference between your TV speakers and this.

if they're IR controlled, you could just buy one them All-in-one controllers that lets you control any IR device. I have one and they're great

I know it's £20 more but the Roth Audio Zero 2 at Tesco is surely a better buy? OK, currently OOS but I registered for an email update last time it was OOS and got an email within days to say it was back in stock. Made up with it and find the Bluetooth APT-X genuinely useful to play my music from my phone wirelessly. Way cheaper at Tesco than anywhere else. Just a thought...
I'm sure this was reduced to clear in my local Tesco for £49, the bluetooth is good but no subwoofer. Really good looking though

I have a Bush 200w with 4.1 channels and separate subwoofer cost £99. Which I purchased after taking back a cheaper one and spec.
Dont bother with any sound bar that does not have a separate subwoofer, and the more channels the better. You may as well stick with the tv speakers and save up for something decent.

I agree however you can't argue at this price, especially for a bedroom or whatever

There is an AUX port on the side and a review says "It is very easy to connect to a TV and to an ipod/ laptop through the aux port." Hope that helps
