I noticed this deal posted twice over the last 2 weeks, this is screwfix's offer £50 off @ £99.99. I guess bosch cash back is possible too.
I use these at work and i don't know if any one had mentioned that there is a slight flaw on these, the chuck has a tendency to let go during use.
When you lift the drill away the bit falls out could result in loosing the bit or possible damaging a tile....
Still a good drill at a decent price.
Powerful 4-pole Bosch high performance motor with electronic cell protection. Features integrated impact drilling up to 13mm and a motor brake for precise work. Supplied with carry case. (not l boxx)
Damn, bought the 3Ah version for £90 a few weeks ago cause that got 400+ heat, this is an even better deal

May be worth mentioning this is a Deal of the Day offer so will expire at midnight.
Also, the two previous deals you alluded to that had cashback on them were via the retailers and not Bosch and Screwfix don't appear to be offering any additional cashback on this.

Great deal OP, was going to post myself.
IMO this V-Li is pro quality, the one that's been posted a few times with the cashback is part of the Bosch 'light' series, so I'd consider this a better deal.
Ordered for something a bit lighter to handle than the Milwaukee. Don't forget quidco.

Just wanted to reply ref my other post here. Their terms say they won't enter into any correspondence relating to the offer! Amongst lots of other strange clauses. Nice customer service.

The "GSB 18-2-Li Plus with 2 x 2.0 Ah batteries in a L-BOXX (06019E7170)" is listed on the app for £15 cashback. Is this the same model?

Yes, the V-Li and 1800 share the same body, just a special number (1800) for screwfix for some reason I think, the part numbers are the same: 3 601 H67 100.
I guess it all depends what you want and what you intend to do with it. The body of this drill weighs 1350g, and the battery 350g. Comes in 500g lighter than my 3Ah Milwaukee, but the difference in build quality is obvious, although one was dearer of course, and one is made in Germany, one Malaysia, guess which? Mil=Ger. In summary I'd say this is a nice lightweight, powerful, good quality drill, that should last years.

No, the other deal is better because it comes with and L- Boxx and is eligible for the £15 cashback which this one does not.

Guess there the same then! Will go for this one and sell the extra battery since i have no real need for 2 batterys

The Bosch cash back seems to be riddled with confusion/hassle.
In the terms it states send pics of invoices, receipts invalidate the claim.
It says no correspondence will be entered into regarding claims (ref back to an earlier comment)
They send no confirmation of receiving a claim and hence no confirmation that you are getting any cash back.
Basically it seems like they have loaded their promotion so they don't have to pay anyone anything and they don't have to respond to why, or if they ever intend to.
Very poor from a reputable company.

Agreed very disappointed with the way a reputable company has set this up
I managed to speak to Bosch direct and they said it's a third party company which is dealing with the cash back offer
When you complete the app it ask for company details etc and I explained I was not trade but a DIYER after a decent drill
Bosch then explained that normally The blue series are only bought by tradespeople and that's why they want the company name but the field wasn't compulsory when you complete the app so I should still be eligible
That was a month ago and 2 emails later and still nothing
The phone number is a 0844 number which costs money and no doubt will leave me there for a long time to run up the call charges
Not what I expected but I'll update if anything changes

Picked one up earlier and am very pleased with it. Surprisingly compact, very comfortable and light in the hand and the torque/vari-speed are superb. Feels reassuringly solid as well. Hoping this will last a good few years.

Bought.. Cash back deal or not I needed a drill for diy inside and outside.. Took me ages to decide.. Mulled over makitas worxs dewalts, and the popular 10.8 kits.. Anyway glad with the purchase. Seems solid good form factor and battery reputation.. Thanks op and everyone for the comments.

Your right, it wasn't compulsary and I did not enter that field either.
For a start telling you that blue are for professionals is nonsense. They are for anyone that wants professional/trade quality. And second, you can be a tradesman without a company name, or even indeed a tradesman without a company!
Telling you it's a third party (not our fault) is classic fob off. They are acting on behalf of the company using their name so they are inarguably linked.
I have 3 items as part of the offer. If I hear nothing from any I will be getting in touch with bosch or returning all tools telling the shops exactly why they are getting them back.
Amazingly, at the bottom of the terms it even has a section about taking legal action against them regarding claims. Very strange thing to put if reputable.

If it was my money, and it was this morning, I'd go for the V-Li (this deal) or 1800, over the 18-2. Or this V-Li, 4Ah, L-Boxx, quick charger for £125.

Am i missing something as so far all I'm seeing is a carry case with a different name
BTW the case that comes with this one is pretty crap IMO. I've had better boxes with FAR cheaper power tools.
Are the other Bosch blue models that look similar to this much different in quality as there seems to be reference to that.
I seen the hitachi offer too, is that on the same level
