Could possibly be a different type of RAM but isn't this the amount of RAM in these Lynx / Dell / Etc Windows Tablets?
Peeps have said this is enough for simple needs(?).

Not really. 1GB is fine for windows, but not nearly enough for android.

Flash memory, not ROM. ROM stands for read only memory. You can't use it to store any user apps.

They haven't specified a time frame yet, but they were reasonably fast with WP8.1 Update 2, which was out within a couple of weeks of release. I would expect sometime in December.
Just be aware that Windows Insider builds (pre-release) are not available for the BLU handsets at the moment.
I'm using the latest build (10581) on my Lumia 830, and it is much improved over earlier builds. There are still a few glitches here and there, but nothing major.

Anyone aware of BLU's schedule for releasing windows 10 on these? I'm intrigued by the Lumia 950xl but wouldn't mind a blast of windows 10 first :smile:.... Last time I tried it was on a Lumia 640xl but it was far from ready!

It's 1GB, specs on Amazon are incorrect. The storage is 8GB too, not 4GB.

That is correct. Amazon have the wrong specs listed. The US version of the Blu Win Jr LTE is 512MB RAM / 4GB Internal Storage, but the UK, EU and India versions are 1GB RAM / 8GB Internal Storage. BLU have confirmed that the UK/EU/India version will receive Windows 10, whereas the US version is incompatible due to low storage.

4 GIG of storage is woefully inadequate. Such a pity, as all the other specs are good for the price (except maybe the ram). Cold, solely for the ROM. :disappointed:

ROM is not a problem here - you can install your apps on sd Card.
O.5GB(not 512GB as stated in OP) Ram means that It won't get updated to Windows 10. Price is nice though and Windows 8.1 is perfectly usable.

There are two versions of this handset. I think Amazon has made a mistake with the specs here. I am sure the UK version has 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. I don't think it can be upgraded to W10 Mobile with a 4GB ROM.
