I was in the market for a new washing machine and this is the best I could find at the moment for my £200 budget.

You're not missing anything, they have just put it up £10 today!
Maybe down again on Black Friday (or even better deals elsewhere) if you can hold off a week?

Why is it a pointless comment? Do you honestly say you don't take past performance of a brand or product into account when making a major purchase!? More fool you.

Indesit are the best for durability when it comes to Washing machines, so a washing machine repair guy told me not too long ago.

I swear by Indesit, never had a problem in 15 years. One Hotpoint, and it lasted about 2 years, before being replaced with an Indesit...

A hotpoint/indesit engineer told me that they both just use cheap part since they merged, better off buying bosch, if you can afford it!

Just about to buy the same Beko product after the bearings on my Hotpoint Ultima WMUD9627, which cost me £330 2 years ago, have gone and requires a complete new drum. Decided at first to sign up with hotpoint for 12 months to get it fixed but when they turned up to fix it 5 days later they didn't even bring the spare part despite me giving them all of the details and info! Have now cancelled the policy and going to buy a new one which I should have done in the first place!
Hotpoint used to be good 10+ years ago but now just cheap parts that don't last. I too have an old Beko fridge freezer that has lasted me 15 years (now being used as a beer fridge:-) ) and 3 house moves so can't see the washing machine being any worse than hotpoint.

Too much bad press about this brand to make me ever consider it, even if they rectified the dangerous goods. Time to retire the Beko brand maybe.

We have a Beko washing machine (older than this) and also Beko dishwasher. Both are quiet and 2 1/2 years old. Both also came from ao.com whose service is second to none. Highly recommended.

Ah ok didn't realise, silly me for paying TAX how silly of me.....
To CLEAR £189 a day is substantially more (circa £72k), you cannot spend your gross wage.
Like I said......terrible mathematician and a very convincing ****

£189 x 5 = £945 x 52 = £49,140 .... probably the reason you don't have the ability to earn a decent wage?

£189 a days wages isn't something to boast about ...... that's only a poxy £49k a year - I wouldn't pull my socks on for that!

I bought a Bosch washing machine from them last week A+++ rating, timer, weighs the clothes to work out exact water, spin etc. Ordered it saturday for £250 + £10 next day delivery. Arrived Sunday morning at 10.00 !! I have never used AO before but they will be one of the first companies I look at from now on :-)

I'll just throw this in there. I bought a 5 month old Logik, similar spec, off Ebay last week for £25. No one else bid. White goods can be a bargain on Ebay because you normally have to collect. If not near you won't bid,

Will vouch for beko as well, have this washer and associated dryer, no problems in 2 years and no fires either. Also have their fridge freezer which was a bargain for the spec and that hasn't spontaneously combusted yet. Washing machine is very quiet compared to MIL's hoover washing machine.

For those who have this (or a similar model) - how noisy are these? Are there big differences between these and the more expensive Panasonics and similar models for noise?

Yes lots of Beko products catch fire all the time, oh wait no they don't it affected a handful of models years ago. I've had a Beko fridge freezer that I bought in 2003, 2 house moves later its still going strong, never given me a minutes trouble (touchwood)
Washing machine is a 1600 spin Hoover and that's 15 years old only repair has been 2 sets of carbon brushes. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Beko product.
Couldn't find this exact model on which but the closest I could find looks identical scored 56% was let down by energy and water usage, cluttered control panel and awkward soap drawer. Other than that review wasn't too bad tbh
The best icould find closest to your budget was Zanussi ZWF91283W £289 that scored 73% if you can find that cheaper, or Hotpoint WMEF742P at 69% or Zanussi ZWF71240W £229 68%
Those are just the % scores from Which thought someone might find it useful if you want to avoid the Beko one

BEKO do have a history of their products catching fire .... we had a BEKO Fridge/Freezer which was a model which had caught fire in many houses/flats - BEKO did rectify the fault free of charge.

maybe they should supply free extra smoke alarms with all their products,as for some reason when I look at white goods and the brand beko comes up I think about fire.
