Early reviews seem meh.
Vehicles are hard to get into (finding the orbs) plus spawning is meant to be a bit lame.

Isn't that the purpose of beta versions?, iron out any bugs n glitches.

The vehicle power ups were always in the same place during the beta, so once you found them once, it was easy enough to find them again. I guess some folk will complain as you can't just fly around for the whole game, but I liked that as it stops some muppet hogging it all the time! Ha.
No issues with spawning either, if you squad up you get an extra spawn point too.
The beta wasn't without its problems, but I don't think they detracted from a great title. If you're deliberating over this or the new CoD, I would personally choose this.

In what way is it limited?
I don't get much time to game but come November I fancy getting this or the new cod, and I must admit the look of this star wars game is impressive but that's based purely off magazine articles and YouTube clips.

No campaign and EA's despicable but typical price gouging for early access to in game items makes this a sour purchase for many.

hot price but im still not sure about this game, the visuals and audio captured star wars perfectly but the game itself is a very shallow shooter. When i played the beta the first day was great but the second and third were just filled with spawn campers, people sitting on the edge of the map sniping, people worried about k/d ratio more than taking out the at-at, people camping vehicle pick ups and everything else in between. Then you factor in no campaign, no prequel content,no voice chat, no space battles, no server browser, no battle log , £40 for the rest of the game....i meant season pass and after the disaster that was BF4 launch will it even work day one ?
I'm sorry for the rant but battlefront 1/2 were my favorite games on ps2 and i don't feel this game deserves to carry on its name. Even though after saying that i will probably get caught by the hype for the 7th film and buy it regardless xD

I was so excited for this game but I have a bad feeling about this. No offline mode and one of the most hyped games this year? Can't see the servers staying up for at least the first week. Hopefully it won't break as bad as GTA online did. Your right about everything else too.... probably withhold tonnes of content then charge more for it.

Bespoke offers is now closed. I got it for £33 from Game Collection then used the £25 voucher so paid about £8 for it. Enjoyed the beta and think the game would be good. The campaigns on COD seem to be getting shorter and shorter with each new release and don't like where the series has gone with futuristic weapons etc loved the older CODs like World at War, MW2

Cheers for the heads up on this. Rakuten had already given me 200 bonus points (which end on 29th), so I combined them with the OCTPAYDAY voucher, so the price came to £35.75 (plus used a few standard points to bring it down a bit more)

I had the same concerns but I have to say the Beta totally hooked me in, I thought it was superb fun. It's a shame there's no campaign - although there are missions you can do solo.
EA said the beta was by far the biggest they've done, but I never had any server issues at any point (and I played it constantly that weekend), so am hoping they've got it covered.
