The reason I assume the size is mentioned is some people may have data limits and can't download 50GB, the other thing is internet speed. 50GB would take a lot longer to download than install from the disc so if you needed to remove it to make space at some point it would be quicker to put back on.

its rubbish buy battlefield 4 much better game in every aspect (hence why this has price dropped soo much without a new one being out)

Also worth noting. It's one of the games that's free to play in the vault for ea access members at £3.99 a month or £19.99 for the year

I really didn't like this compared to battlefield 4, felt like a step backwards to me but that's a great price heat added

Sorry im getting confused recently as seen people post things like " Prefer physical as havent got the HDD space for digital" i thought even with a physical disc you still had to install all and the updates (if your connected to live).

but using the disk how large are the mandatory updates anyway?

I'm absolutely awful at this game but it is actually pretty fun on multiplayer. The single player campaign is pants.
