Just got quoted for £50 for USA, when on compare the market etc I have got £8.50 for pretty much the same cover. Is there something I'm missing to get it cheaper?

Nope, I saw a similar crazy price for a 10-day trip to the US for one adult aged 30-39. Over £70 for family, incl 1 child.

I am actually looking for travel insurance but am I being to ignorant to imply that AMEX policies are way overpriced and getting it elsewhere would simply cost me even cheaper than this bonus gift card?

I'm not sure but I just got the same amount of Cover from Asda for £4 and was quoted £14 by Amex so although this deal is Hot
