Shirley (Solihull) store had a bin full of these pumps reduced to just £2.99 today (I think they had been over a tenner). Very sturdy, metal body and large foot for stability, large pressure gauge on foot, dual head to cover all valve types, 3 adaptors for airbeds, balls, etc.
Can't find an image of this exact one as the cycling specials were a few weeks back.
Lots of big clearance reductions in Aldi at the moment as they make way for Christmas stock. Prices and items vary by store but well worth a look if you're passing. They always have clearances on old stock but the reductions seem to be much greater and the range much bigger at the moment.

Silent cold voter(s) out already! Please let us know if there's a problem with these pumps we should know about - or do you just get some sort of weird kick out of voting cold?

Thanks. I think these clearance prices are set locally by managers (four Aldis locally to me, all with different clearance items and prices) but if they have a pile of these it looks like they have the authority to clear them out. £2.99 price scanned accurately at the checkout.

Killer deal. Paid full price. No complaints here

Good to hear. Looks and feels robust but you never know until you start using them. I've seen some poor feedback on the plastic bodied ones Lidl had a while back.

Not great is this one. Tends to leak I've found and the head isn't as good a fit as many others.
Pressure gauge I've found can be wildy inaccurate.

I've had aldi pumps before and they are no good for high pressures so no good for road bikes

I bought one at full price this summer, £6 I think, they're great. I use them to inflate my road bike tyres up to 100psi+, pretty accurate though the valve isn't the easiest to get off cleanly, but it's a decent pump.

Bought one last time they had them, it broke the first time I used it so exchanged for another. That one broke the first time I got pressure in the tyre too, got a refund after that and won't buy bike stuff like that from Aldi again. Stick to their socks and base layers, always had good performance from them.

I bought one in the sale for about£4 6 months ago. use it on my mountain bike. it is way better than the£5 home bargains pump it replaced.

This is really poor quality, bought as a spare as we took our main one on holiday and we had friends using our house. Bent on about the third use. My main pump only cost a tenner in the Edinburgh bike sale and is a million miles better.

Buy a decent pump instead of cheap tat. Only any good for pumping a football up

Had an aldi pump for 5 yrs now. Still going strong, even at high pressures on my roadie. Will definitely be trying my local aldi later today.

Please be aware, these are not the ones shown in the photo which someone has added (are they plastic?). I can't find a photo of this one. The one I've got is metal with a very good foot (easily stands on its own) and a large pressure dial on the foot. Seems very well made and robust though I haven't used it yet.
