The eBay deal looks great but I needed this today - works great, not to heavy to be easily portable and was really sturdy even when fully extended. I felt very safe on it and successfully installed some security lights on the outside of the house.
Very glad I didn't go for a £17 Argos step ladder, this is truly useful.

i got a 14 in 1 ladder from ebay for £ 49 now £ 59.90
Looks a better deal but then 25 quid delivery which is unfortunate yet that does explain why other places are selling similar for 90-100 quid.
The B&Q bit short for my liking, 4.75 tends to reach the gutter on the top of the houses at least guess its ok for minor jobs the b&q one.

Decent ladder. Got one from b+q for about 65 which is its normal sort of price.
It's not bad and the combinations are OK but can be a bit bulky with its stability feet. Also not too high when in the mode shown in the picturr. You also need quite a bit of room to get it into some of the positions! The locking mechanism is really tough though which is good. The only issue I found is that in certain positions the locking mechanism tends to be harder to undo, just slide a flat head screwdriver under it and lift and its back to normal.
Abru do decent ladders though, and I'd recommend this one. I spent ages comparing them about 18months ago and found a lot of the cheaper ones don't support much weight!
It does pack up quite small though to a quarter of its height which is handy.
Opening post
down from £74 - something similar in Screwfix is £80.
Looks like free delivery too, although confirmed at checkout.
No click and collect for some reason.
Today (1/11/15) B&Q is 7% cashback on Quidco too..
