Usual buy 6 get 25% off wine at Sainsburys but unusally they have kept the 3 for £12 offer so combined in short you get 6 bottles of wine which you can mix for £3 each - reviews seems ok as well - bottoms up.... hick!

Got my delivery today.
They had sold out of the Dow's Trademark Finest Reserve Port 75cl, £10 reduced to £6.75 so when you get 25% off it's about a fiver for a bottle of port which is a great price

wotwine thinks that's the best value port even at £6.75!

Ok - I don't know if this is a glitch or me just not understanding the deal properly but it seems that if you buy any 6 and get your 25% off (In this case 25% off £24 so saved £6) any subsequent wine / port / sherry purchase in any multiple or single also gets you 25% off the price of that item/s. So in theory you buy this and you can also buy 1 bottle of Dows at 6.75 and get 25% off that one too without having to buy an additional six bottles. I bought 6 shiraz and had a points offer for buy one bottle of cava so thought oh well I'll just get one and my receipt states the £6 discount for buy 3 for £12 then instead of just another £6 for the 25% it shows £7.38 which is £1.38 for 25% of the cava as well. Maybe worth a try if you want a champagne or port? Sorry for longwinded explanation....

Not a glitch....the deal is 6 bottles or more. So any extra than 6 will also have the 25% off

Be the latter "6 or more". Was looking for a bottle of Chanson Nuits Saint Georges, seems to have disappeared when offer started.

It says actual price will only be shown at checkout - offer still live and online, maybe try logging in and going to checkout? I know the 25% off didn't used to show until you got the receipt on delivery

It's OK to booze nowadays, sugar is taking all the flack at the moment......:sunglasses:
Eggs in the 80's, coffee in the 90's, alcohol in 00's, and poor old sugar is getting clobbered in 10's :stuck_out_tongue:
Any one taking bets on what's for clobbering in the 20's ????

It's possible to get 14 bottles of wine delivered for £1.76 a bottle using a £18 of £60 code...
You have to place an order of £60 for the code to work, and £18 of it must be groceries. The total you will pay after the code and £1 delivery is about £43. So just order groceries you were going to get anyway, or stock up on, and the £18 discount can be counted off the wine. Here's what I bought...
The total for the wine in your basket (after the 25% off and 3 for £12 offers) comes to £42.75. Minus £18 code = £24.75 for 14 bottles = £1.76 per bottle.
Another way to look at it is 14 bottles of wine for £3 a bottle, and £18 worth of free groceries. Either way it's pretty good!
The code was one of the following, can't remember which one worked...

Hopefully anything that is currently considered 'healthy'. Maybe scientists will discover that everytime you eat a green salad, it will take 8 minutes off your life - much like smoking a cigarette
Since red meat is also on the hitlist, I'm feeling very grumpy about all my favourite things being bad for me :disappointed:

what vouchers are working then?
the last one that worked was £18 off a £60 spend
The current ones are £16 off an £80 spend or £18 off £100.
As I mentioned above the code CATNNSLEEM for £18 off £60 is still working, but you must have £18 worth of non-alcohol products in your basket.

Yeah, it is annoying when all you want is the booze  But it's still worth it for £18 off.
