Careful, some bags contain the very similar looking vegetable Snoino. Not sure if they are the same price..

Tip of the day: prevent yourself from crying when chopping onions by not becoming emotionally attached to the onion in the first place.

First time I visited a Farmfoods branch and it was really pleasant, except for the payment via card I couldn't just swipe nor have the machine nearby so just covered the pincode.
Shame they didn't have that Kinder Bueno sale 2 for 1. Oh well.

I went to Walthamstow Central bought two and left the last one, or so it was what they had in stock. The sucky part is that I should've brought a trolley rather than a shopping bag. It was damn heavy but worth it.

Please be a bit more specific because "onion" is a bit wide a variety. What type of onion? Spanish? White cooking onion? Red onion? There are probably many sub varieties but at least these would narrow it down so that people know basically what they are.

Here is a great Halloween recipe- peel them , cover in toffee and put a stick in them. Disguised as toffee apples the kids can't get enough.

Cutting onions used to cause tears, but I can honestly say they don't now. Either onions aren't as strong or I've built up a tolerance somehow.

Heat for this price, but tbh in the pic, they look small onions. I absolutely hate small, they take 3 times longer to prep, and that's 3 times longer my eyes are streaming

smaller onions are more versatile and have a fine flavour. you are also more likely to use it all and not cut it in half

i do love French Onion soup, fact is Onions pack a hell of a lot of taste and can be used in so many ways. chopped raw onions taste good mixed into mashed potatoes as well. Morrisons had a great deal recently 2.5kg red pots at £1 , you could then gave 5 kilos op pots and i kg of onions for £3

5k of potatoes wow, easy way to put on weight, the quickest way to loose wight when going on diet, just take the 5kg sack off your pot belly....
FACTOID: If you rub an onion on the sole of your foot, inhalf an hour you'll be able to taste it.
I got these when they were 2.50 and they are good and strong, good for pickling if you have a vessel big enough.
