Why anyone would buy this in preference to the 10,000Mah Xiaomi battery is beyond me! It is cheaper, better built (aluminium finish), and allows for pass through charging.
Don't waste your money on this.

I've used them without an issue - it's not a transmitter just a battery.

Do you charge these up with an ac adaptor? Doesn't appear to come with one.

It's rare for power banks to come with AC adapter. It comes with USB cable so just use your mobile phone AC adapter.

You'll be lucky. Any flagship phone of the last few years will be lucky to get a full charge and a quarter out of this.

iPhone 6 is powered by an 1,810mAh battery = 2.87 FULL charges, so 3 charges from a circa 10% battery.

You don't understand how these batteries work.
You will get 2 full charges with a bit of luck...

Some people prefer to buy in store, as you don't have to wait for a month delivery (Banggood) and can always return it back to store if you have any problems.

Where do you get it for that price?

i understand fully and could guarantee you will get over 2 charges. even with giving a low efficiency.

Most power banks give about 60% efficiency at best due to voltage conversion and losses associated with it. Even with a good manufacturer 5200mAh will likely only provide about 3120mAh to your phone. They are handy but carrying a spare battery is a much more efficient way to go if possible.

Really? I assumed around 80%, maybe 75%. manufacturers of these should be giving a clearer capacity to device.
Got the Xiaomi from banggood and it states on the side 10,000mah (6,300)
Got an LG G4 (3000mah battery) and it charged it from 5%-10% to 100% 3 times, but only just!
Classy bit of kit too, very impressed

If you ordered today, there's actually a fair chance that it would be with you by the time this Aldi offer actually comes around! That was certainly the case with many people who ordered via the free/untracked delivery method on the Xiaomi power bar deal.
Plus, Aldi is quite different to other stores. Ones these things sell out, they ain't coming back! So it may well end up being a wasted journey.
More to the point though, the Xiaomi power bar is double the power, much better build and pass through charging. Why opt for something less for the sake of a few days initial delay in getting it?!

Yes, they quote the capacity of the cells which have a nominal 3.7v output but this is then converted to the 5v USB output. This means you only have approximately 75% capacity compared to what is advertised assuming the conversion is loss-less, unfortunately it's not so there you lose another 20%ish on top too.

Sorry but as others have stated you'd be a fool to purchase this when you have a much higher capacity and almost certainly significantly better cells and control gear for less money!! It's a no-brainer, I'm not sure when the last time you ordered something from China was but I get stuff shipped from China on a weekly basis and can assure you I've never waited a month!! Most stuff arrives in a week and a half too two weeks max so it's hardly a big deal.

Not good value. I purchased 2 of the Xiaomi 10,000mah chargers and very happy with them, and currently represent fantastic value

I partially agree with you, Yes the Xiaomi is a great buy and I'm very happy with mine but if ordered today there's very little chance of it arriving by Sunday.
Mine took 9 working days to arrive but was worth the wait.

"Silver" is underselling this - it's aluminium. A very nice product. Takes <2 weeks to arrive from China.
Bought 2 more (which arrived this morning by coincidence) for Xmas pressies.
Beautifully designed product with lovely packaging.
Cannot recommend highly enough.

most new phones have approx 3000 battery so it's just over 1.5 taking into account that all cells aren't 100% efficient. I have maker 5400 pack and does this on my 3000 phone battery.

As far as I can see from http://www.iata.org/whatwedo/cargo/dgr/Documents/LithiumBattery_PassengerFlyer.jpg as these are cased and under 100Wh, they appear to still be allowed.
