Priced as £1.75 but scanned @ £1, so naturally I emptied the crate and put them all on eBay for £1.50. This time next year Rodders..

yea i went and bought a pot this week and got some tea lights..were in a georgian house so the rooms are fairly large..but the convection part is true... its as hot as a radiator if not hotter!...I reckon a decent size room may need about 3 of them..our house is 1200 a year to heat so I reckon this may help...I set it up differently..i got a matching saucer part for the terracotta pot which looks better and works in the same way...I have a stone lazy susan hanging around so I put it on that so its got a bitta style going on not like that lad on boat!

But will it cost you less than 50p for packing and posting the candles to ebay buyers?
Not sure how much profit you'd make on these lol

Physics is obviously a weak subject these days... You can add as many plant pots and sticky back plastic as you like, it wont increase the energy the candle releases!
... It also wont reduce the toxic gasses.

is the point not to increase localised heat so as to increase the convection effect thus spreading it better?

A weak subject indeed, if you cant see that harnessing said energy and forcing air over it will heat much more of the air a lot quicker.
its not about increasing the energy, its about making the most out of the energy that is being produced.
no difference to utilising the space in the over when its on to batch cook, and then to leave the oven door open after you've finished to heat the room.

Refrigerate/freexe before use, makes them last longer apparently... Also remember these Parafin candles release fumes when burnt.
