Depends on the store, the majority make them from scratch in store. I can assure you as I have to make them.
This was a special price for Doughnut week in April and then rather than go back up they used them to launch their 'made by us' campaign.

Strawberry, raspberry, salted caramel or apple filling. You can also get 6 sugar rings for 47p.

Morrisons are the only supermarket that make these fresh every day. All other supermarkets get them in frozen. So the taste in your local Morrisons will depend on the person making them that day.

Yes Morrisons went down that route about 6 months ago, but listened to customer feedback and reversed there decision to their credit, hence when they came back, the price dropped to 47p

They come to the stores already made and are just finished off in store.. Ask them !

As said, depends on the store but they are definitely still around.
And +1 on all the comments regarding extra jam and extra oily compared to what most would think of when dreaming about filled doughnuts. It is possible that this may also be a little store-specific since they make them every day in store. On the plus side, it means I eat fewer of the Morrisons ones than I do when I get the Tesco Euphorium Bakery ones (which can be wolfed down almost indefinitely but are somehow not as fulfilling).

Deals like this should be illegal, especially at this time of the year, between mince pies, fruit cake and now doughnuts I am going to have to either develop an awfull lot more willpower or buy larger clothes.

When I last had Morrisons doughnuts, they had an insane amount of jam in them. Made them insanely sickly.

We have had them from several
Morrisons. All have been oily on one side. Given up on them, even at this price. Few years ago they were the best about.

I shop at sainsburys and 2 packs of mine were soaking wet from the sugar, leaked all over my shopping and then went hard! Idiot packers honestly.

Don't think it was a dodgy batch they were advertising 'now with 30% extra jam' a while back. It's absolutely ruined them for me, way too sickly. The salted caramel ones are good though but don't do them in my local.
