Best £5 offer if you dont want to get into 12/24 month contract and want sufficient hassle free data, few minutes & 5k texts.
this 4G sim deal gives you 1GB data, 250 minutes & its 1 month rolling plan, also capped with their shockproof offer. I bought iPhone crazy offer on ID already, coverage I must admit when travelling around UK is better than O2, Voda as it piggybacks 3.
Dont forget, Quidco cashback makes it free for 1 month!
You have to scroll down to see this on the long list. not on the banners, seems an early black friday.

Reviews not favourable for ID mobile. Life Mobile might be a better alternative?

Is that 4G? 500 minutes sound good but how long 500MB last now a days & this gives you capping too.

Thanks you are right. They did not changed the banner yet. This looks like a very good plan for lite user and 4G included.

Would they keep this on same £5/month or increase once you have ported number in? Same contract for 12 month is lot more.

Seems like double data of 1GB for 12 months after which they will reduce to 500MB

Surely if you buy it on £5 it will stay same for up to 12 month as advertised, porting shouldnt affect contract.

Poor signal for iD, phone says I have 3G/4G connection but takes ages to load pages. Useless indoors too, can't receive or make calls/texts. Planning on leaving iD very soon due to this.

The deal quota included double data for 12 months, so it's actually the 500MB data plan doubled up.

That's right, 1GB data for up to 12 months if you stay on this 30 day rolling contract.

I think it is rolling contract which can be cancelled/changed by either party. If it stays at same price then it is very good deal.I am thinking of getting 2 for kids but customer service reviews are not good.

Currently on ID Mobile paying £7.50 for 100 mins and 1GB 4G internet which i don't even use up so considering moving to this deal for more than double the mins and £2.50 cheaper.
Won't be able to find any cheaper 30 day contracts with that much 4G internet

How are you getting on with them - little concerned about the poor reviews people are mentioning - I've just ordered and also emailed family to let them know about deal before i was these comments on HUKD...presumably you are happy if you are considering switching to another deal w/them?

In terms of signal I've never had a problem. Their app is a pain to use. Their customer service is reasonable, better than EE imo. I guess a lot of negativity after their customer details got leaked. imho for the price they give it's hard to go wrong, especially on a 30 day contract. I had 2 friends use their £20 unlimited 4G data deal when it got released. One had problems so she switched but the other hasn't had any issue so far.

I've been using iD mobile for some time. They are run by Car Phone Warehouse and use the Three network. So signal check your area and find out if you can get a good signal. I've had no problems with it picking up a 4G signal in those areas that have it, and 3G pretty much everywhere else I've tried. In low signal areas it will connect to the EE network, but I've always found data on that very slow in my area but when connected to Three it's absolutely fine.
No idea what customer service is like, because I've never had a reason to use it.

Considering this to stick in my spare iPhone to use as a sat nav rather than invest in one. Then again, you get a better navigation experience on sat navs... Can't decide!
No offence that was posted 4 months 1 week ago

Let me just say that ID Mobile is the WORST company I have ever had the misfortune of using, even worse than Vodafone and that's saying something. I don't have high expectations from any mobile phone company but ID takes my low expectations and takes them to a whole new level.....downwards!
I've now ordered three SIM's....why? I guess I'm a glutton for punishment although in my defence I cancelled the first on their advice after not getting the double data and neither the customer services team or Facebook team could fix such a simple problem after several days. The second SIM we had issues porting and I'm promised it will be tomorrow (gulp).
The third....well that's not arrived yet. After the first two were sent on next day delivery by DPD, for some random reason ID have sent the third via Royal Mail. Or so they claim because it hasn't arrived. So guess what? Another call will probably be needed tomorrow.
So...three tries.....not one successful yet.
I also wonder how poor a service a customer has to get before they take to randomly warning you when you post on ID's facebook page, urging you to cancel while you still can. Because that's what happened to me. A lady messaged me to tell me her tale of woe too and urged me to back out during my cooling off period.
In fairness the website & app seem to do their job when they are working. I'll ignore the fact my 1GB dropped to 985MB before I'd even plugged my SIM into my phone.
In short....if you have to call customer service or if anything goes wrong (which it seems to have everytime so far) then you will be in a world of pain. If you are lucky enough to get away with using the app then you'll be OK.
I definitely would never sign up to a long contract with them and I guess the only reason I'm still with them and signed up for another SIM for my son is just out of sheer morbid curiousity.
I will also now need to keep an eye on my bank account since for the third SIM they sent me four direct debit notices all with different references. It's not been unheard of for them to take money they're not supposed to! Just Google!
Anyone signing up....good luck and best of british to you!
