I know these deals can go hot or cold as they are not for everyone, I won't be buying myself as I have kids, and therefore a stupid supply of rechargeables... But I DO know they have their place.
These are a great price for what they are, my benchmark is usually £1 per pack of, these work out at 59p, and go lower if you buy 10 or more in one go.
6 year shelf life too.
Free delivery still available too...

Thanks for the link to the article - I just wish there was a 'published' date on it.
The Ikea batteries they mention are no longer 10p each - they're now 15p.
And the GP batteries you mention may well be good but (according to my calculations) are more than twice the price of the ProElec ones in this deal (£12.83 as opposed to £5.94)
12 for £2.75 inc VAT = £0.23 each
(or £2.49 inc VAT = £0.21 each for 10 packs+)

I've had a few packs of AA ones with no problems so far. Just about to order some more.

Actually, battery capacity is quoted directly on the link for these batteries. 2.6aph. and the powerchart you link to shows the Wilko ones at 2aph, and these quote a shelf life too, no idea if the wilko ones do. Also, being effectively 'unbranded' I'd suggest the Wilko ones will come from many sources, and you may well end up with anything in the battery, power-wise.
Not a criticism of the wilko ones per-se, it's a decent price, but personally, I'd rather go for these, especially with free delivery included too!

I think better buy Wilkinson cells, unlike these CPC ones capacity is known (and high, details here: http://www.batteryshowdown.com/results-lo.html ), price 50p per pack and you don't have to buy large qty to get low price.

Use these all the time and they are ok.
Get Procells from work and don't see much difference when used in mice and keyboards.

They may not be the best in the world, and I wouldn't expect lithium levels of performance, but for the price, I'm guessing that performance/price ratio is pretty high!

I tend to wait until the offers come along at lidl/aldi, but they've not had the 'stay charged' ones for a while now.
I'm still hoping they come along before Christmas... I need to replace a few
