I know Zavvi had this a few days ago but had a look and can't see anywhere else at this price just now, think it ends tomorrow.

For those that are not aware, this is the older 3DS XL and not the latest model.
Pokemon X and Y are the previous generation games. The latest are Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

omega ruby and alpha sapphire are remakes of gameboy advance games, X and Y are the latest "new" games. Remakes are usually counted as the same generation as they don't have new pokemon added or a lot of new gameplay.

get new one for £40 more pal, some of the newer games only work on the never version so its more convenient

I think it's pretty disgusting that the older versions are being sold and that the vague labelling makes it difficult to distinguish between old and new.

Worth checking previous comments as this is for an older version not the new one, however there's probably not a lot of noticable difference unless you're a hardcore 3DS gamer.

You need the newer one to have nfc built in, Amiibo don't register on these without a seperate device plugged in so your not really saving if you need amiibo compatibility.

The "new" version improves graphics, framerates and head tracks for the 3d which are all easily worth the markup.
