When you go to put your details in they also give you a £250 voucher. That makes £2250 off any Vauxhall - on top of any offers they have! Not bad.

+ any other offers on top including partner company offers.
(search your company on http://www.drivevauxhall.co.uk/vauxhall-partners/)
List is quite long and includes sainsburys / Halfords / engineering companies / supermarkets / etc.

https://www.partnersprogramme.co.uk:

Use login ASDA / TESCO / HALFORDS / etc. to register on partner site if you want to see deals - if you aren't a member you might be able to get them to give you the deal anyway :)

Or it just takes you to the register page here:

https://www.partnersprogramme.co.uk/register/index

You will need to prove you are part of the company involved or be in contact with the friend who recommends you however to get any extra discount on top of the £2k

Ends 15th December.

Vauxhall Scrappage Offer

Get £2,000 off a new Vauxhall

If you’ve recently had your eye on a shiny new Vauxhall car, here’s your chance to drive it away at a £2,000 discount (including VAT).

To claim the discount, all you have to do is trade in your old car when you buy. Any brand will do, and the age of your vehicle doesn’t matter.

You’ll simply need to prove that you’ve owned it for at least 90 days before the new-car order date and agree that the vehicle can be scrapped.

This scrappage offer is available at participating Retailers and covers our passenger-car range excluding VIVA, Corsa Sting, Corsa Sting R and ADAM JAM. Terms and conditions apply.**

Double-up on Vauxhall offers

Our scrappage offer is available on top of other Vauxhall offers – so why not save even more by combining it with our Flexible Finance, Flexible PCP or insurance offers?

For example, if you’re 18 to 20, you can get a year’s insurance on ADAM SLAM and Corsa Limited Edition for just £99. And if you’re 21 or more, you can get one year’s free insurance.

This means a 21-year old customer who trades in their car could also take advantage of a £1,190 finance deposit contribution and pay just £193 per month over 36 months for a Corsa three-door 1.2-litre Limited Edition – and that includes one year’s free insurance and one year’s free OnStar and 4G Wi-Fi.^

We’re the only manufacturer making this offer, so why not contact your Vauxhall Retailer today?

Absolute GARBAGE.!!!
This will only be a "deal" if the scrapped car is worth LESS than £2,000.
Also, just WHO is going to move up from a sub £2,000 car to a new one?

They are probably using a cheap car because they can't afford a new one !
Sheesh !

That's absolute garbage. I've owned a civic type R 09 plate and moved down to a 01 corsa for the sake of driving to work - a local commute.

I could trade my corsa which cost £400 and invest towards one of these.

What an idiot, people do what is right for them, some buy new cars(sorry hire them) every year or so, and end up paying thousands and thousands for cars they never own. Some people like me choose to buy cheaper cars that are fast/luxury which I would rather drive than a new basic car. ( I also have no massive monthly payments to worry about) Others buy a new car that they actually own and then use it until it is 10+ years old or knackered and then buy a new one. I wouldn't want a new Corsa/other similar small horrible car if you gave it to me, I would rather drive a £2000 barge!

Sadly I used to like Vauxhall, but my current one (from new) is a pile of junk. Poor economy, poor quality and lots of repairs, then when you think you have a Lifetime Warranty you find lots of things are not included. Mine is the worse car I have owned for many years - so I would be tempted to keep the old car, as it will probably be more reliable!

Yes - a couple of friends have done it:

1) With the partnership scheme its interest free / unlimited mileage for 5 years
2) Extra 7% discount on list price
3) Some people cant afford a car outright but with interest free monthly payments and no deposits they can. (partnership scheme)
4) Some people run their car to the ground and don't change every 3 years so may have bought a car 10 or more years ago that isn't worth much.

Pluun
3 Nov 15 3 #27
I usually run my cars to the ground too.
My £6,500 Sierra lasted me 13 years, 1/3 of a million miles and only went due to bad body work..
My mk3 2006 Mondeo 2.2 diesel Estate Ghia, bought in 2010 for £2,850 is still running well at 228,000 miles.
If it claps out before I do, I will buy another £2,000 range car.
But I won't buy a new car, even at 50% off, because it will be out of my price range.
I am running a £2,850 car because that's all I can afford.
Even if I had a car worth only a penny and the £2,000 offer was really worth £2,000 I couldn't take advantage of this offer.
Bearing in mind that virtually every car is worth at least £100, the £2,000 offer is only worth £1,900 at best.

3 Nov 15 #63
If you check the FAQ on the partner site it reveals all. There are 'Partners' (employees of Vauxhall, GM and a few other companies) and 'Associates' (employees of partner businesses).

Turns out, us meagre associates don't get much of a discount. TBH it was only the pairing of the two deals (Partner Program and Scrappage Scheme) that was making this hot. The offers at my local dealer, for example, are similar to what they were a few months back after a modest trade-in.
Babbler to satchef1
4 Nov 15 #76
PS
"A GM employee, agency personnel engaged on a GM contract or non-GM employee working at an eligible GM UK site, can nominate two friends per year, however you can nominate your partner, and as many other eligible relatives as you wish! Once registered, they can buy their own vehicles through the programme. You can check family eligibility on the website. Unmarried partners are only eligible if they can produce documentary evidence of proof of address - such as a utility bill. This is part of GM's terms and conditions."

My collegue got the partner discount - she does not work for any of the GM group just one of the companies mentioned in the link above.

The discount is the same for both as far as I can see - you get whatever discount the site tells you once you are registered.

I have much difficulty seeing a Vauxhall that I find desireable. Maybe it is because I have had Fords that I really liked and maybe you can't like both. It's like a DNA thing, you can only like one or the other and quite dislike the products of the other. That is what I have found anyway with most people.

Not what I meant... I meant you get it for £8859 AFTER all the discounts. + anything you can negotiate on top like free A/C / accessories etc.

Two websites you need:
http://www.drivevauxhall.co.uk/vauxhall-partners/ (check if your a part of a company that's eligible).

http://www.partnersprogramme.co.uk/ (need registration code from your company if they are part of it)

Or find someone that is and get them to recommend you as "family".

Urg - scrappage scheme, another way to deplete the supply of cheap used cars and remove interesting old cars that could otherwise have been kept on the roads. Absolutely hate this. The last time the government introduced the scrappage scheme genuine classics were removed from the road and scrapped. Such a waste. To top it all off this deal land you with a Vauxhall in return.
