Person A after 22 minutes exactly is carrying on and posting messages that he hasn't got his £5 credit. It does happen a lot where people on this site think that commenting on this site after a purchase will get them the help they need when really they should be contacting the retailer who can give them their answers. Ya know it just makes sense.

Worked fine here, so looks like the Beta codes temporary issue was resolved. There weren't any instructions after the purchase (or at least I haven't been emailed them yet), but I just went to Orders and clicked on it, and there were two "Activate Code" buttons (1 for PS+, 1 for £5) and both codes were accepted fine at the Sony store.

Yes it worked after I created account to spread payments. However I paid the amount in full via Paypal.

make sure you create an account to spread payments, then just pay for the purchase.

I was planning to use them for the first time with this order - couldn't as I haven't physically ordered from them recently. Never had any problems with Top Cashback or Quidco though, just try and get in touch with them.

Like someone has said above, you have to go to the Account section and then orders. You'll see two "activate now" buttons and that's where the codes are.

Seriously terrible website. First two e-mail address I used to join the site wouldn't work as I was 'an existing account holder'. Tried to password reset them and then 'account on this e-mail doesn't exist'. Got on with a third e-mail address and a big box pops up saying they need to take a quid off me. Agreed. I did this last night, e-mails are useless, but went to the Account section of the website and orders and the "activate now" button were there for both codes. Pressed them and then took a screen print to use when I get my PS4 at Christmas!

It's not the friendliest of sites/e-mail notifications though!

Make sure the payment has cleared, the order must be completed in order to get the codes, by the way, I didn’t received any email in my personal email address, all the notifications were internally through the website so you need to keep checking and also check your bank has realised the money.

Just an update...

I ordered last night without any problem whatsoever. I was expecting an email telling me that the codes were ready, but this morning I logged into ShopTo, clicked on this order and there were a couple of buttons which said something like "Show Code", clicked those and got both my codes. :smile:

I don't know my PSN password to be able to activate from work so I'll be trying them tonight thought I doubt there'll be any problems

I tried to order and it was declining every card I tried, though Santander showed the payment had gone through. Gave up in the end and bought from CD Keys which wasn't as cheap but turned up in seconds.

Do not buy this from Shopto, they don't have the content to sell. They will take your money and unless you chase and chase you won't get this. They advertise stock and online content hoping people will buy they will take you money then not silly anything. Once you complain they will then try and source the content. Look at their Facebook page or other review sites to confirm this.

Are people still having problems ordering? Been trying for last 15 minutes. Paypal won't appear and keeps disappearing from basket.

Read through this thread and thought I wouldn't be able to get it, never used Shopto before, but I signed up, selected the plus deal, clicked account and orders and there were two yellow boxes underneath saying active code, and they revealed the 12 digit PSN codes straight away.

So within a few seconds I had my codes and im a new customer, so don't let the whole 30 days and needed to have ordered physical games sent to your home put you off. Unless of course I was incredibly lucky!

to update with the issue I have yesterday, I should say that the problem of being unable to play order after clicking "buy" is solved after I turned off my VPN connected to my US university. I am currently in UK. I guess this might be the problem previously.

In fairness to them, they did say the codes would appear in the Betacodes/DLC section when they realised there was a problem. Not their fault people can't/don't read things properly.

Shopto are a very reliable company and their customer service has always been great, however their website is terribly glitchy and unreliable.

Shop to are brilliant, never had an issue from them. I waited ooooh a day as im a patient man and low and behold both codes appeared. Patience is a virtue i believe they say.

I can't even get onto my account. I did a password Reset and it still says Invalid Password. Can't be bothered now.

Refreshed and waited. Went to orders and clicked the envelope where it gave me my code for the PSN year credit but not the 5 pounds credit.

EDIT: left my account page open and kept swapping between account, orders, downloads, account and then appeared in my downloads section after 10 minutes.

It seems only customers living in the UK can order in the new Playstation Digital Store from shopto.net. I had the same problem as you, no matter if I used Chrome, Firefox or IE. I opened a ticket and the support told me I couldn't add any of the wallet top ups because I'm living in Germany. If they want to restrict it like that, that's ok. But they nowhere state anything like that and I try to add an item for hours like an idiot. Not cool.

Does this happen to me only? I registered, and linked to my paypal. The moment I hit the "buy" button, nothing appears. It seems I could not play any order at all.

All fixed, received the two codes (one 12month sub, one £5) around 12pm today having ordered yesterday around 2pm

For clarity you will eventually get 2 separate codes. Both of which appear in the dlc section of your account screen.

The 12month psn access code confusingly is called something like 12mth psn + £5 wallet. This code is just the 12 month access. The £5 wallet code is a separate code.

If I then (say after a few more months) start a PS+ subscription again, do I have to start from scratch or will I still have access to the earlier monthly-games I collected during my earlier PS+ subscription?

I tapped them up on Twitter just after 4pm, they took my details via DM and said they'd pass it to the tech team. I appreciate it's Sunday @ 6.30pm now so not expecting resolution tonight. I'm going to give them till Mid-day tomorrow before I start chasing. Been a ShopTo customer previously and had no issues so willing to give benefit of doubt

it seems like the payment section on the main website (your existing cards + option to use paypal) is seperate from the digitial products section so you'll have to add card details regardless of having an existing card on shopto. Any you can't use paypal.

Can someone link the Street Fighter IV offer at Game please? The one I found for £11.99 shows a PS3 logo and is only the game add-on, not the full game as shown at shopto...

There used to. Now PS+ games are equally **** and uncharted 4 wont have dedicated servers despite PS+ being required for online play.
tbh I'd settle for 4 games and pay half the price if it were a choice. And also dont forget the x360 games are backwards compatible with x1, PS3 ones are not.
The price difference as it stands is just a tax on people choosing PS4 for better graphics.

Lack of being able to pay with PayPal despite them having the PayPal symbol is really putting me off getting this.

Leaving it in the basket for now ... maybe another store will have the offer on & be happy to have my PayPal money.

I agree on average XBL is close to half price when purchased online,
I could live with it to start with as there was a decent collection of games being given by PS+ and XBL was really old stuff yet now XBL games have improved loads and PS+ "imo" have been very mixed for months quite a lot of cheap games from PS store and not much big games that they used to give initially :neutral_face:

Thanks, I don't actually have a PS+ account but bought a second hand PS4 which was not deactivated by the previous owner so I can still get online. Eventually it will run out but whilst I can still get online I didn't want to activate this :smiley:

anyone know why cdkeys and other places are able to sell xbox live gold 12 and 13 month codes for £20-25 for like 4 years straight. but nowhere ever seems to drop the price of ps+ down to less than 30ish?

It'd feel like a no brainer if the Live deals weren't so cheap, making PS+ look poor value in comparison. With the Vita and PS3 all but dead, Sony really need to pull out some decent PS4 titles to justify the price.

Wow their website is horrendous! Didn't work on phone or tablet properly and became a total mess when zooming. When i tried buying on my computer under a new account linked to my new email and card it wouldn't let me buy as nothing had been posted to me before on that account. Got back into my old account where i have bought from before and have points, added my paypal this time so there would be no duplicate card on my two accounts and they still won't let me purchase. I give up. Its not worth the saving.

Yeah, had a full exchange with them via DM - they've sent me the PS Plus code over Twitter just now and added the £5 PSN Credit code to the BETACODES/DLC section on the site and I've redeemed them both successfully.

Supposedly there was an issue with how their server was communicating with Sony's that caused the issue.

I haven't received my code but I have contacted them on Twitter about it. They are being more than helpful, and are looking into getting the issue resolved for myself.

Their website is a bit of a shambles and the email order confirmation was poor, maybe worth giving them a grilling on Twitter if you have an account :wink:

Ive asked Customer services and they seem to suggest we will get a further code that will be supplied at a later date.

I can't think of any. XBL is at least as good in terms of service (better in my experience), and the PS+ monthly games aren't exactly amazing these days.

Shopto are very good retailers but their site is buggy as hell. I can't imagine why the offer isn't going through. tried to add a psn £5 card and 1year subscription but there's no discount applied. not sure what's going on

same here, scott_w_1981, bit different than ordering from cd keys as had to go to 'BETACODES / DLC' in my account for the code instead of if being emailed to me but there is no £5 psn voucher there to redeem.

No mention of £5 psn credit on there now feel this might have expired

How long do the codes last when you buy these ps+ subscriptions? Is there an expiry date? I bought a second hand PS4 and I can currently still get online without a ps+ account. The guy wiped his data but didn't deactivate his account from it. Eventually it will expire but thought this would be a good deal while I waited, hence the question :smiley:

I imagine it is there because they have opened their digital PlayStation store like i mentioned in the description. Promotion maybe? God you lot know how to kick peoples efforts down. I'm surprised anybody does anything for you.

I'd be careful with shop to, they shafted me with Xbox credit a few moths ago. Advertised a deal like this with no expiration date on. I purchased and used my credit. I emailed in about the lack of money and was told the deal had expired days before (as I said, no expiration with the advert). I pointed this out and said they're still advertising this deal on their site when they promptly removed the page the advert was on and refused to honour the deal or give me a refund. They then closed my account down too.

Have you looked in your account where they put your codes?
