If you're going to tell everyone at least exaggerate a little...

I can confirm my local (Newtownabbey) store had these - except it was £9.99... (I bought the green one and ran a power analyser through it - 12,000mAh confirmed!)

For those of you wondering the size. It's about the same size as a portable hard drive.

Can these power a chromecast or Amazon Fire stick for a few hours to save me running a power supply to my projector?

Should be able to they're pretty powerful. And can charge a phone a few times over. I'd say yeah it should do. Worth a try.
It can tell you the voltage and current going into your battery or coming out of it, and other more expensive models of these will tell you the overall capacity that has entered or left a device, so you can assess its capacity.
Comments like this always baffle me. Pay more! It must be better!

Has anyone actually bought it at this price? Wondering if perhaps this is a misprice, supposed to be the price for the lower capacity ones. I nearly got caught by B&M because of this.

From the picture it looks like a bargain buys store and not Home Bargains...
I never equip my lab or factories without one.

If you enlarge the picture it looks like Bargain Buys not Home Bargains as the label on the shelf has a barcode on it. HB does not have this. Good price though if you get one as I paid this for an import on ebay!

Sorry folks this was completely my fault it is in fact bargain buys. I get the two shops mixed up because they're beside each other. Corrected now.

This one here can tell you the capacity:

Bargain Buys - £9.99

I think I just came across a cheaper equivalent of the second device, the KCX-017 - appears identical and for under £3 delivered I've taken a punt. Some good YouTube reviews of the device as well. Probably manufactured in the same factory and passed on to the many Chinese resellers under different brand names.
