Chargeback completed for 1 box with credit card. Now need to sort it with bank.

I got my bank to refund me in the end, Zavvi have ignored me now. But haven't asked for the box back either. It's pretty crap as well

I rejected mine today. They better refund. Their last reply said something about they can confirm the reply was automated. Hmmm

Also had a second box charged and cancelled after cancelling, my credit card registered with them expires at end of month so they can't take any more monies but I feel I am going to have a issue getting money back from them.

Just had email from Royal Mail, going to deliver it today apparently.

I got a reply from them saying they have no cancelled the box. They didnt answer my demand for a refund at all. Not happy so have to take it to my credit card / bank now.

My bank clawed my money back today, part of me hopes they have issue one of their boxes out so I can make them jump through hoops to get it back.

Ridiculous how it takes them 48 hours to respond. Will never use again. Didn't have this issue last time I got a box. They do itnoj purpose I think.

Their support is a total joke, their latest reply states they can't supply the previous box (which I've got) because the suppliers couldn't provide it?! I mean what the hell!? do they just roll a dice to select which reply to send and don't actually read the query. However, the last bit does say that if any money had been taken (which it has, certainly no 'if') then it would be refunded in 3-5 days. I get the feeling though it's just part of the canned response though and nothing will actually happen. Not sure whether to now wait or go down the chargeback route.

Right peeps! Rather frustratingly just had an email off Zavvi saying they've 'posted out' the next box so I can't get a refund until I return it. I'm hoping in the mean time Tesco sort a charge back out. Because I don't want to jump through their hoops. It would be good to get my money back from Tesco and then tell Zavvi if they want their box back they have to jump through my hoops

At first Tesco said I had to make reasonable efforts to get a refund. But in my Twitter exchanges with another person screwed by Zavvi I mentioned Tesco (indirectly not a @Tesco) and they contacted me and they have started the charge back process. Had to send copies of emails etc. No word back yet though

They have said they will cancel the subscription and refund me the money. Checked now and the subscription has been cancelled. Waiting on the monies....

Not your fault mate, it's now starting to get a bit of attention so I imagine if they don't want a tonne of bad press they should sort it soon.

Oh cool, what did tesco say? Coincidentally my CC is with Tesco so be useful to know what they're like to deal with for chargebacks as I've never actually had to do one before, no one has been as useless as Zavvi before.

Got similar problem, have spoken with Tesco bank about charge back.

And they've replied with another totally unhelpful answer, no confirmation of refund, no confirmation they have actually cancelled and a set of instructions that aren't possible as the next box doesn't appear in outstanding orders, only in the subscriptions section where there is no cancel button:

Same here but I asked for the subscription to be cancelled on the 18th October as payment was ready taken for this box. Messaged them now as I was charged on the 2nd! Thankfully I still have the message saying it would be cancelled so I can use that.

Thank you for bringing this to attention. I've just logged into my Zavvi account and under my subscriptions, it's empty so we'll see. Also checked my bank account and haven't been charged as of yet. That really is terrible customer service on their part though!

Anyone that did this then cancelled you might want to check your accounts as they've charged me for this months despite me cancelling the subscription at the beginning of November (and having confirmation from then that they'd done it). I've complained and unbelievably their reply was sorry we haven't cancelled it yet as there is a delay (of over a month?!?). They didn't even confirm they are going to refund it for that it would be cancelled any time soon. Gonna give them one more chance then issue a chargeback through my credit card company.

Totally agree. Totally rubbish box. But made a profit in selling the figure and almanac at £20 each. Hoping the buyer won't be as disgusted with it.

Sell the figure on ebay for 22 quid. Recoup your loss.

I tried to cancel this an hour after I purchased it as I changed my mind., They still sent me it, but they'd cancelled the almanac comic (funny that...). Absolute naff box, quite disgusted by it tbh. Ive since been emailing them online to get it sent back but I just keep getting nonsense replies not actually relating to my query. Don't bother wasting your time or money with this naff

And yes im guessing the exclusivity of the pop cost them too much hence box was bad.

I emailed them via contact us. Cancelled within 2 days. No problems.

I emailed them, selecting 'cancel order'. Then added message saying I want to cancel subscription. Got email next day saying it was past on to relevant department. Not heard anything since. bit of a faff.

I've just come on here to ask how you go about cancelling your subscription because I can't find it anywhere. It says contact us, so I sent them a message. But is that how you actually do it?.. sending them a message? Not just clicking a tab saying you'd want to cancel your subscription? Very confusing. And in regards to the box, this is the first time I've ordered one and it's very disappointing indeed

Watch is some cheap tat that's barely useable. In fact it's the same as what I got in the stealth themed loot crate but grey instead of black.

Why they couldn't have thrown a t-shirt in there is beyond me. For £20 I'd expect a bit more. A t-shirt would have made this a good box.

Just got mine. Seems a bit lacking compared to other boxes I've seen, buts that's probably because of the inclusion of the Pop . Got £5 quidco, so worth it I think. The watch i like, and the Chrono Nauts book is pretty good if you like that sort of thing. The socks are, we'll, socks I suppose. Would have been nice to see some Bill & Ted in there. The Pop I love!

Yes not the best box ever but can recoup money back on fleabay easily (£20 for the pop alone).

got mine today, comic and box packed separately but arrived together. watch is only cool thing, rest (socks, other comic, that's it) is a bit crap (no tee) - expected as much but had to take a punt for that pop :S

'Exclusive' is abit of a loose term when it comes to pops in that its only exclusive in the country in which its released. So this figure could be made exclusive to walmart for example in the states and z-box in the UK simultaneously. This can hurt the value in the long run, just a word of caution if anyones thinking of ordering a massive number. Still a great find, my doc figure is looking abit lonely.

This funko will be hard to find but is also exclusive to fun.com USA but will cost you the same amount as this entire box after delivery. Also the funko is pre order on ebay for 30quid, USA fun.com version. Either way this box is a steal.

Nice exclusive Funko but zbox in general have been woeful when I got them, I got marvel and animation and overall would have been better off just buying a funko!
