It's due to the button controls on the mic for forward, pause etc. Does not work perfectly on my android phone either. Which is a PoS Samsung Galaxy A3.

Sound is OK for the price but the build quality is poor. Don't expect them to last long if you plan on using them daily ..

I've only had mine for a couple of months (only paid US$7) and can say they are better made than my skull candy inked and mic'd headphones. For the price, I have no complaints at all.

I cant remember exactly I think it was about 2 weeks but they give you the option to have them shipped from the UK for about £2 extra. Change the shipping from: China to UK on the main page and it will show you the price difference if you need them soon.

Bought these from BangGood previously.
- Delivery took a while, but the packaging of these rivalled Apple products. Looked great before even opening the box
- Sounded excellent, clear and crisp sound
- One earpiece broke within 1 month with no sound coming out.
A real shame as I was hoping these would last. Maybe a bad batch.
For £10 or so can't complain too much, but would have been nice to make 6 months!

I've bought several of these from different places such as Tinydeal, Gearbest and Banggood, as they were quite cheap (cheaper than this deal) and the sound quality was pretty decent. Unfortunately they don't last, 3 of mine seem to have developed a fault around the 3.5mm jack part, they've lasted around 1-2 months.

The same happened to my xiaomi piston headset (3 sets) they gave a good sound and all the buttons work on my xiaomi note phone but quality does not match the quality of the phone maybe they have upgraded the quality and or maybe this is a different model will be interested to see what the feed back on this set.

The best cheap earphones are the amazon earphones, they look very similar to the apple ear pods, sound and bass is fantastic.
Why is this being down-voted? Any better deals for quality earphones at this price?

I've recently bought 4 different type, low price earphones from Amazon Monoprice - and would definitely recommend / buy more of these noise isolating £3.40 white ones. Strong cable, easy to see, great sound, cheap to replace eventually - use them every day now:
Most xiaomi products are fake on the web so beware.

Banggood is a official supplier of Xiaomi. you might be confused with gearbest or other sometimes reliable sometimes not suppliers
Same happened to me... v2 lasted a year, but these v3 lasted only 1-2 months before the left earpiece stopped working

All buttons should work on android, I've tested on a GS5, GS3 and a cheap Chinese Android tablet. Only middle button will work on IOS devices.

nice sounding but I can tell you that I had these and for people with medium to big ear holes, these will slip out your ear due to the material of the earphones. the piston 2s are much better
