I dont understand how this is hot. it's just retail price. £20 IS ridiculous for a little wireless dongle

Yep Windows 10, the wireless dongle only works with W10 according to MS.
The rumble works fine wired with GTA V so it seems unusual to me. Having played with the wireless dongle a lot more since posting this I've noticed some very frustrating and pretty regular occurring 'input lag spikes' where controller inputs/results lag by around a second, it clears up after several seconds of lag but it's quite infuriating.
I love the fact I can now turn the controller off without ripping out the batteries though, but in its current state I would not recommend purchasing this as it just doesn't work properly. The lack of rumble isn't a deal break for me but the input lag is inexcusable. Quite disappointed.

GAME have dispatched mine, however Shopto website still says released in 11 days?

Mine arrived today from GAME. Probably going to return it as Windows 10 is not something I want at the moment. EIther than or see if any unofficial drivers come about to get it working on 8.1 :stuck_out_tongue: I'm assuming you're on Windows 10? I'd imagine its just a thing games have to implement. The rumble has been hit or miss via wire. Some really old games it works with, while newer games that are on next gen consoles haven't for example.

Received mine from MS and installed etc. Everything is working for me except the rumble feature, which seems to only work wired (tested on GTA V). Anyone else with the same problem?

I ordered one of these from the MS store as I'm absolutely sick of the crummy USB connection constantly disconnecting whilst playing with a wire, such poor design
I rarely rate cold but 14p off full price is hardly a deal

Nice, though hopefully it comes with a extension wire with a stand, Something that size sticking out at the back of my PC is likely to block the sorrounding ports at the back, or stick out like a sore thumb if I use the top USB ports of my PC.
Not really an issue, but something I'd like to know before hand so I know if to order a USB extension cable or not.

Will this work when streaming your xbox to your comp?

Slightly off topic but how do people find the Windows 10 game streaming? I've noticed the occasional bit of lag when playing FIFA 16 online, I'm using A/V 200 Homeplugs and the 360 is direct into the router. Can push the full 35mbit on my fibre when using the home plugs, the streaming info only shows a max usage of 17mbps?

anyone know if you have to pair it each time you change from PC to Xbox one?

I presume so as even using it wired on the PC needs a re-sync when you go back to the console

This with an Xbox One Controller or a Steam Controller?

Ouch, long overdue and shockingly overpriced. Will stick with wires :disappointed:

will this work on the xbox one?
im one of those that gets the controller disconnecting, then instantly reconnecting issue due to wifi interference and cheap hardware in the xbox one. It may have been fixed in new consoles but still a problem for me unless i attempt a repair again.
I think if this device works on the xbox one it could eliminate the issue.

On top of reward points etc, I went through Quidco for about 2% off. Also hope this transaction qualifies for the £10 cashback offer Quidco did last week which is active on my account...

Just to say if you plan to use this just for streaming Xbox one games to Win10 I find leaving the controller connected to the Xbox works fine if your not too far away ie, a room away.

When the hell is it eventually getting released!?
Game said it was released yesterday until yesterday arrived then suddenly changed the date to 27th. Which is different again to ShopTo's release date. How hard can it be to release a wireless adapter?
..Guess they needed longer to make sure it adequately blocked Windows 7 users, forcing them to upgrade for the privilege of wireless connectivity.

They say Windows 10 only but surely that can only be for the streaming/mirroring of Xbox One on a PC/Laptop.
I would be surprised if the device itself does not work on Windows 7/8/8.1 as a wireless receiver.

Win 10 uses completely different input scheme i.e not x input. So no it won't work.
